Question on Mitsubishi Adventure Diesel top speed

Is it true? 2007 Mitsubishi Adventure GLX with a 4D56 engine can reach 155km/h?

My 1998 Adventure's max out at 135km/h on NLE. The A/C's on and there are 2 passengers as far as I can remember.

What if the 4D56 DI-D DOHC 16v Turbo Intercooled of a 2006 Mitubishi Strada is installed in a 1998 Mitsubishi Adventure GL or any similar turbo charged engine, how fast can it make? Is it still as fuel efficient as the non-turbo 4D56? Will it really fit in the Adventure? Is it worth changing the engine? Whatcha guys think? hehehe...

IMO, baka hindi magkasya coz medyo maliit ang engine bay ng adventure. Also, granted na magkasya, you will have to upgrade the transmission to compensate with the additional torque and horsepower. Baka mapamahal ka ng todo for this project... sell the adventure na lang then with the proceeds plus your budget for upgrades, just buy a new strada, hehehe

nakaabot pa yan ng 150 km/h sa SCTEX kaso nasira yung video..

3 passengers, no aircon, 160,000++ odometer reading, rpm reached 5k+
katakot na..

baka magtaka kayo kung pano sya nakaabot ng 150 km/h dahil ako din ay di makapaniwala
na kaya pala ng sasakyan ko na tumakbo ng ganun..

Medyo totoo na mabilis ang Adventure.

Last weekend, we went to Subic via NLEX and SCTEx using our Santa Fe.
Sa NLEX Northbound, nasa fast lane ako running at 120kph and then may nag-flash sa likod ko na adventure. Insulto naman kung tatabi ako. he he he. So binilisan ko lang pagda-drive. I increased the speed at 140 hoping na ndi makahabol si Gray Adventure. Lo and behold, at 140kph, the Adventure managed to keep pace with me. Ndi pa din ako makalayo sa kanya.

Nong pinalo ko si Santa Fe sa 150kph, don pa lang ako dahan dahan lumayo sa kanya. Pero kabado ako at that speed. So nag right lane na lang ako and reduced my speed to 120 sicne I have my family with me. Ayon at naunahan ako ng Adventure. Ndi na ko nakipagsabayan pa sa kanya. Pero I am a believer na matulin talaga Adventure. Pero ndi ako maniniwala na it can run at 160kph. Siguro ung Adventure na umovertake sa amin was running at 130 to 140.

Medyo bago pa ung adventure and the plate starts at Z so I think baka 07 or 08 yon lumabas ng Casa.

i've seen many adventure passing me at NLEX, mas mabilis talaga compared to 4ja-1's. my max speed is 130 -hirap na hirap na though very comfortable at 100-110 din naman with outstanding fuel efficiency of 14-16 kms/li. not bad

samin naman wala pa ko experience na nalagpasan kami sa expressways or provincial hiways ng diesel na adventure kapag tumatakbo kami ng 120-130 madalas na lumagpas samin mga sedan chaka ung mga naka turbo and crdi

imho sa nlex mas accurate mag top speed, sa sctex kasi pag pababa talagang bibilis ka, I cant go beyond 155 sa nlex dati but nung nag sctex ako naka 170.

mas matulin talaga ang adventure kumpara sa ibang oldschool diesels. pinaka matulin ko sa nlex 130kph 3 pass. a/c on. may ibubuga pa.

pero may natatandaan akong isang nagpost sa adventure topseed thread ata na 170kph tutuo kaya yon? parang imposible naman ata. kung lalagyan kaya ng turbo maaabot yon?
