    how many mins do you set your turbo timer? or how many mins do you wait before you shut off your engine?thanks

    ako no turbo timer.... pag nasa city driving lang ako tapos me mga konting harurot idle ko engine before off mga 2 min.. pero pag long distance driving ako. mga 5 min. ko idle.. tapos bukas ng hood para makahinga yung engine.. he.he...

    city driving 30 sec. should be good enough.
    long driving 1 min. is sufficient
    hard driving 3 min. at least.

    This is the general rule that I followed when I used to have a turbo'd civic SiR. Ito ang ni-recommend sa akin ng mga engine tuners and mechanics sa area namin.

    youre right kimpoy, pag arrive sa destination, when it is time to go down then they will brush their hair pick up ther bags, arrange their clothes. lol, turbo timer na built in sa kanila.

    for my E36, about 1 minute if city-driven. if highway, i can set the turbo timer to 3-5 minutes.

    2 mins. Kapag najijingle ako, umiihi muna ko sa gulong. Afterwards, lakad lakad ng konti tapos engine off na.

    is that your paje in your sig?damn!ang ganda pre,yan yun trip ko.ano engine nyan?nakakita ako,sticker nya sa sides says 226HP!(not evo,ganyan talaga)mukhang orig yun sticker nya eh.lufet

    The oil lubricating the turbines need some time to cool it down so better na may cool down period ka. Im just amazed na bakit yung mga SUVs dito na may turbo wala naman turbo timer. Bakit? Cguro sabi ng mga hapon sa trafik lang lagi yan so hindi na kailangan ng turbo timer. He!he!he!

    Ako 2 mins pag city drive, 3-4 mins pag malayo o matagal na high rev yung engine. Nakakatawa yung comments nung iba regarding the "wife"turbo timers ha. Napagastos pa ako.

    Ah Ok ganon pala yon sana may mag design na may run down tank ng may cooling oil system . Parang yung mga mga high Turbine engine at yung sa mga Airplane

    driver driven pajero kahit anong kulit sa kanya mag cool down ayaw sumunod. matigas ang ulo.

    nakita ko lang kaya save ko kaagad...pag nag pa repaint ako.. ito yung kulay na gagayahin ko.. ha.ha.ha..... eto po yung ride ko attached.. with my alloys.. gulong lang pareho namin sa nasa sig ko bwa..ha.ha..

    naku, sa sobrang trapik dito sa mmla, di nako naghihintay pa. pag dating ko sa parking, tingin lang ako sa salamin tapos patay agad makina.

    sa bahay naman, sa sobrang dami ng humps, di na rin ako naghihintay ng matagal bago patayin yung makina.

    pero syempre, iba pag nasa expressway ka......

    dont have a pajero but I have the same engine in the strada I wait for 5 minutes regardless highway or city driving Its just a precaution kaysa masira ang turbo charger
