I just found out that you could still buy a brand new 4x2 pajero from the dealer. I'm looking for a 7 seater vehicle and I'm considering this or maybe a PREVIA. I just can't imagine myself going to the office everyday on a PREVIA

    Appreciate you thoughts.

    Thanks,

yup its called New Old Stocks or NOS he.he
i think its selling at 1.7M

up against the previa mas gusto ko ang pajero, BUT with all that budget i would look for 99 model pajero with Super Select 4WD system, half the price pa.

    again if that was me

i second kimpoys motion. low mileage na 4x4 pajero na 2.8 liter would be around P1 million. marami ka pang pera extra.

IMO... a Pajero without 4WD is lacking half of its character...

wait for the upcoming SUVs from Nissan & Toyota (Xterra & Fortuner). It'll be worth your wait.

if you like comfortable seating for ALL 7 passengers, AND you always have 7 passengers on board, syempre mag previa ka na. pero kung gagawin mong daily car ito and seldom mo lang naman sasakyan ng 7 passengers, mas better talaga ang pajero.

will these be 7-seaters? even though, mas maluwag pa rin malamang ang pajero.

Great inputs! I wish I could get a low mileage gen 2.5 4x4 but it has to be a brand new unit. I was looking at the fortuner which they say will be a seven seater but the dealer said it wont be out until June. I need to get the vehicle by April.

    Thanks!!!

    What's a gen 2.25?

If you are going for something brand new and prefer a 7-seater that's relatively cheap. And, if you prefer a body on ladderframe SUV... Why not consider the Suzuki Grand Vitara XL.7 (P1.395M)? Or better yet, wait for the Toyota Fortuner (P1.4-1.5M?). Both are, of course, only midsized SUVs, not like the fullsized Pajero. But, they pack more testosterone than a Previa. A brandnew Fieldmaster is an old-model not worth it's P1.7M price-tag (IMO P1.5M is a more realistic price for it - like the Montero Sport). The new generation Pajero is over P2.3M.

yung kay woodfire kasi gen 2 pero he changed the engine to a brand new 4m40 (2.8 tdic), that's why i call it a gen 2.25

Yun pala yung . Nakaka-bili pala ng brand new 4m40. Where do you buy them? Locally or do you import them yourself? Curious lang.

    Thanks,

Yup. Last year El Dorado in Filinvest Mall (Alabang) had one brand new 4m40 unit on display in the store. Asking price if i remember correctly was P280k

Oh by the way, I'd go for the Pajero over the Previa. But if you can wait until June/July, get the Fortuner. It's going to be worth the wait.

as a late input, go get the pajero instead of the previa. you get higher clearance pa, can go off-road (oh okay, lugi siya at 4x2 pero hindi naman for hardcore offroading i presume? ;) ).

nagtaka din ako dun sa gen 2.25, yun pala yun. hehe!
