May 6th, 2004 05:43 PM #7Hi Tsikot Peeps,
Salamat!

May 6th, 2004 05:59 PM #81. same engine kaso intercooled na ang new strada 100hp vs 88 hp ng old strada
2. suspension is identical
3. i can speak for the 99 first gen strada, all power na rin pero mas maluwag ang new strada, pero konti lang plus the leather trim.
4. 265/70/16 is 30.6 inches versus the 255/70/15 which is 29 inches only, much better ang new strada dahil All terrain na sila yung sa first gen H/T pa and they suck
5. exterior, well for me mas macho ang first gen (siyempre love your own) lalo na kapag naka 2 inch lift saka naka muds (talagang love your own)
try mong maghanap ng ng 99 model na first gen. eto ang last of the mohicans or 99 na 2nd gen, first of the mohicans naman.
overall, any strada you'll get, you'll get a no-nonsense, do it all, strike anywhere warrior
i have been to pinatubo, tanay, high peak, and numerous weddings, strike anywhere talagaLast edited by kimpOy; May 6th, 2004 at 06:03 PM.

May 6th, 2004 10:35 PM #9Thank you sir Kimpoy!
Follow up ?s:
OT: i'm choosing between a 96-98 1st gen strada vs. 99-00 Suzuki Vitara JLX. Mainly for personal use, zero or minimal hauling, for use on 95% paved, 5% off-road.
TIA!

May 7th, 2004 08:59 AM #101. torque? i dont recall, pero if more than enough of what you need.
2.exactly
3. pasok naman may konting rubbing lang sa fender well, im running 31s on my strada but still i have to crank my torsion bar
strada and vitara, apple ang oranges
kung sa criteria mo na zero hauling mag vitara ka na, and hey off road capable din ang vitara
goodluck
