Newbie Problem

I'm planning of buying this (1 year old) 2nd hand g4 gls mt. When i first check the unit it has a dead batt but we were able to jumpstart it naman and i managed to start the engine after few minutes.This variant has a push start/stop button and I kind of new to this technology actually I just learned how to drive from a driving school using 2nd gen. vios (no my last driving session was june pa so baka hindi na ako marunong mag drive )
Exterior still looks good no dent, small scratches but nothing major madumi lang talaga. Interior is the same malinis and seems fresh pa. I was able to check din other parts like aircon, lcd, radio, rear camera, lights and functioning naman lahat. And it also has the receipts from its previous service maintenance.

But I've found some issues like :

* Passenger door key seems stuck in the remote. Or maybe we are not aware that there is a button that needs to be pressed to detach it not sure pero ayaw talaga matanggal
* There is no beep sound after pressing the unlock button and the driver's door cannot be unlocked also, same thing with lock button.
* It keeps alarming even if all doors were locked. Actually it all started after I close trunk.

I don't know if those are real problems or maybe I just don't know how to use the features of the car, but how much would it cost me if lets say there is a problem with its locking system,sensor and remote?

If it's 1 year old, still have casa warranty. That should be free to repair sa casa. Sabihin mo security system malfunctioning.

But in worse case scenario na void na pala yung warranty magkano po kaya yung magagastos ko sa ganyang issue? I'm just trying to lower my expectation and prepare for those extra fees but i hope covered pa din siya ng warranty syempre. What do you think good buy na ba ito if ever ma negotiate ko at 370k given na possible may ganyang problems?

Sa pagbili ng 2nd hand lalo at newbie sa sasakyan, payo ko lang ay wag magmadali.

Madami pang 2nd hand sa labas. Tyagaan lang sa paghahanap. Kunin mo yung wala or yung minor issues lang.

Yung walang battery, red flag sakin yan na hindi namaintain ng maayos ang sasakyan....

Yung kotse naka garahe lang talaga for maybe 3-4 months kaya na dead batt siguro. Do you think major problem yung mga issues na mentioned ko about this car?

Personally, maliit na bagay sakin yung alarm. Pero kung ako ikaw, aalamin ko magkano ipagawa. Most probably kung original alarm yan, mahal yan sa casa.

Kung may regular key naman sya, another option is kuha ka na lang aftermarket alarm. 1500 lang ang cheapest na ganun. .

Whats the mileage? I think the price is reasonable but you have to consider the mileage even on a 1yr old car. for a 1year old car maybe mileage should be around 10 to 20k. Sariwa pa yan huwag lang nalubog sa

Yes the mileage is within that range. I think hindi naman flooded wala namang trace sa loob and sa engine. Ang concern ko lang talaga is hindi mag function ng tama yung remote and yung alarm. And for some reason stuck yung susi dun sa remote

Haha 2 weeks ago may binili ako bank repo na innova kaya your description is familiar. Anong bank?

Ma nakita ako potential issue dun sa binili namin before ako nagbid. Pero i did my research and included a worst case scenario kung magpapalit ng piyesa. Buti na lang minor problem lang. No need to change parts.

Change fluids din agad.

Tingin ko pre pareho tayo ng bank hahaha (every wed ba?), yes every week possible yung depreciation but this particular unit hindi siya nagbaba probably by next week pa. But from what I've observed kasi every week ng kucompare ako ng changes from the previous list and if I'm going to follow the trend this week mabebenta na ito and I've noticed it also during my visit at the warehouse na after namin mapa start nag puntahan dun yung ibang visitors and interested din sa ganong unit. I just hope this is the right time to bid it. Wow ang mahal pala ng original sana covered pa ito ng warranty.

After market lang alarm ng g4. Si avt ang supplier. Just like montero. Topak talaga alarm ng avt. Pawarranty mo lang siguro. Or paaayos sa electrician. Nasira rin alarm namin sa montero. Ayaw magstart dahil sa alarm at immobilizer. Pinagawa sa electrician. Forgot the price. Basta sigurado akong wala pang 3k yun. Baka iba tayo ng situation. Share ko lang experience ko

In my case naman after namin jumpstart ng start na, the non-stop alarm sound came after ko maisara yung trunk. Sabi nung mechanic dun baka mahina yung sensor or sa mga wirings nga. Pwede ding mali ang procedure ko on how to use the remote din

Yung mga bantay sa warehouse may mga contact mga yan na buy and sell... tinitimbrehan nila kung may tumingin or kungay nagayos ng sasakyan.

Meron din mga marks ang oto kung may interesado na buy and sell (bukas kalahati ng bintana, naka taas wiper, may sulat sa bintana). Kaibiganin mo yung bantay pati guard at makakakuha ka ng tips kung madami may gusto

Dun sa unit na type ko merong naka sulat sa windshield na 'DeadBatt' and napansin ko bukas ung passenger door. And I'm so surprised na ang linis ng engine nya puro sobrang dumi naman exterior and also yung ibang mechanic hindi ako i accommodate agad nung sinabi ko yung plate no. nung car. Ito na ba mga signs na kailangan ko na kunin? hehehe
