8.4km/L uy taas yan ah. currently ako 7.0km/L lang QC to Makati to QC. Conservative driving pa dehins ko pa hataw.

Had my 1k check up. Php 6,700, 9liters of oil. Diamond Motors C5/Valle Verde branch.

I also had my 1K PMS at Diamond Motors C5/Valle Verde branch..I also paid the same 6,700

Need your advice co-Mountain Warriors or Hunters ( some translations I got for the word),

My ride is scheduled for 1000Km checkup. The casa gave me two options : Use XP synthetic oil + oil filter (at around P7,700) and come back at 5tKm for change filter at P2,400 or a total of P10,100 for a 10tKm cycle. Or use regular oil + filter (parang Mobil Delvac yata ang na mention na gamitin) for P4,000 at every 5tKm interval or about P8,000 for a 10tKm cycle.

Obviously, cost-wise lamang ang regular oil. However, in some other aspects (like overall engine protection and durability, synthetic vs mineral advantages, turbo system protection), what are some other things I have to consider?

Ako I go for synthetic kasi hassle yung balik ng balik sa casa every 5K. But then kung kelangan din lang bumalik to the casa at 5k for change oil filter, parang mas Ok na nga ang mineral oil, bukod sa mas mura pa.

The big problem with using mineral oil is, almost lahat ng casa eh sabi na may memo from MITSU Phils. mismo na kailangan ng 4m41 engine natin eh fully synthetic. Bawal daw yung mineral oil. Pero may isang casa na nagsabi sa kin na puwede mineral oil. Your casa is the 2nd one I've known kung saan puwede din mineral oil. But so far, di ko pa nakikita yung memong iyon na sinasabi nila.

Sorry kung lalo kitang ginulo.

P.S. Change Oil Filter is PHP 2,400.00? Parang mahal yata. Eh PHP 1,000++ lang ang oil filter... what is the extra PHP 1,000.00 for eh free labor naman sa 5K checkup?

Di naman magulo, I got your point as I tend to agree that since balik ka rin sa 5tKm (with the usual queing and same hassle) for change filter, might as well change the oil na. You get fresh oil pa which I think is better compared to synthetic oil already at 5tKm mileage. Though, I still some proof or data to disprove this notion.

The P2,400 was indicated for the 1 pc filter (P1,575 yun 9 liters of mineral oil). Mahal nga for a piece for oil filter unless it is exceptionally special for a crdi engine. I'll check again, baka nga sinali ang labor when it is supposed to be free at 10tKm.

Anybody who has gone thru 10tKm, please inform us how much you paid for the 10tKm service assuming synthetic oil was used and only the filter was replaced.

i may have gotten the 1st lemon ms, my unit is 2 months old, with 3t km. mileage. the problem is the steering wheel makes a clicking sound, may lumalagatok, as the service advisor acknowledged when i brought it in for warranty claim. the bigger problem is they said they couldn't find anything wrong upon checking it for a day! they said they were going to send a q.r. to the plant and inform me after a couple of days. pretty distressing for someone who bought a brandnew vehicle! has anyboby encountered a similar problem?
