On the question about the 4x2 variant... My SA just confirmed that they will be launching it by Dec (1.2M to 1.3M range).

They're having problems with unit delivery from Thailand on the 4x4, so they're accelerating the intro of the other variants...

But being a new car, I doubt if you need to top. Save yourself from the casa costs...Just my opinion
Thanks for your reply cashewchord. So as per Citimotors, you don't need to top the oil at 5000 km, but do you need to bring your car to them, nevertheless, for 5000 Km checkup (there's a list of things to check and do in our booklet)? I also know that in the warranty booklet there is a 5000 Km free service coupon or this.

OR as in totally you don't need to pay them a visit at 5000 km? Won't this void the warranty somewhat because you did not "visit" the dealer on your reaching 5000km? Hope you can clarify and sorry for so many questions...

Currently a happy MS owner, no complaints so far and the suspension is real good. It swallows path holes like asphalt.
Regarding the turbo timer, would the warranty be void if we buy the unit from winterpine and let them do the installing?

Their supervisor told me to see them again in 10,000km. No need for the 5th km. They said warranty would not be voided for not doing the 5th check up.

    From Bangkok Post:
"MITSUBISHI PAJERO SPORT 2.5" (They call the Montero Sport - Mitsubishi Pajero Sport)

    "Airy station wagon"
"The 2WD Pajero Sport is a credible alternative to a large-sized estate asking for just B950,000 in entry-level form"

"This is the two-wheel drive version of Mitsubishi's all-new Pajero Sport to compete with comparable models offered in the competition including the Ford Explorer, Isuzu MU-7 and Toyota Fortuner."

"Although not based on a pickup with rear-wheel drive like the aforementioned models, the car-based Chevrolet Captiva equipped with front-wheel drive and 2.0-litre turbo-diesel is an alternative at similar price level of slightly over B1m."

"Unlike the four-wheel drive version that uses a 165hp 3.0-litre diesel, this two-wheel drive Pajero Sport gets the smaller 140hp 2.5. Ford also uses this strategy to differentiate its Explorer lineup."

"Estate practicality is a selling point. Pajero Sport has good cruising abilities."

"Apart from the mechanical running gear, the Pajero Sport 4x2 is only lightly distinguished on the skin by omitting the roof rails of the 4x4 version."

"Other than that, the two Pajero Sports are basically the same. The mag wheels and automatic transmission are shared including the GT specification that includes twin airbags."

    "What's cool?"

"If you're looking for the most attractively priced seven-seat SUV in the market, look no further. In baseline form, the Pajero Sport is priced at Bhat950,000."

sir, your SA missed informed you... if your using fully synthetic, you still have to change your filter at 5K KM interval and if needed, to top off what oil was spilled on the process of replacing the oil filter... this statement came from MMPC itself...i got proof if you need.

yup! on my computation possible the 2Wd will arise on P 1,370,000.00. if this will happen better get the 4WD GLS...

    computation: coinmill.com/PHP_THB.html - 25k

2WD GLS 950,000.00 Thai baht or P1,322,597.31... This is the low end
    2WD GT 1,070,000.00 Thai baht or P1,489,662.24
    4WD GLS 1,120,000.00 Thai baht or P1,559,272.62
4WD GT 1,240,000,00 Thai baht or P1,726,337.55 ..High end

But the current price here of 4WD GLS SE is P 1,598,000.00 less than 128,000+ on thailand price..Then the 4WD GLS is P 1,430,000.00 also less than 129,000+ on thailand price.. My estimate on the low end 2WD GLS will be less 120,000.00 more or less on thailand price, same with 2WD GT....
    P 1,202,597.00 or P1,202,000.00 (2WD GLS)...P 1,370,000.00 for (2WD GT)..
