Hi guys.. Just new to the thread and my first time to be owning a vehicle and MS is my target, just a question for MS(white) Owners, mahirap po ba talaga maintain ang white specially here in manila?
hope to get your opinions.
my color options are white and silver. thanks in advance!

no sir, i don't think so. its not that sensitive to be damaged agad... it's a good thing u inquired about this as early so Now You Know about it. ... enjoy your monty and congrats!

i can recommend 4-5 mins. if u came from a long trip including quick "harurot moments" to enjoy the power... heheheh

*djin_xxx, i was also considering white at first because it looks so cool with chromed 22"s.. but the day before i ordered, our other vehicle got scratch and under it's white paint, silver lumitaw so i guess, pag silver color ng car, di halata pag nagasgas.. hence, i chose the silver since pag new driver, mas likely na magasgas

i recommend 1min. max.

kahit mag kabit ka ng turbo timer na may auto shut off, meaning yun hindi mo na iseset ang time, 30sec. to 1min. max lang talaga ang time limit to cool off the turbo.

even coming from a long trip, hindi mag bibigay ng 1min. above ang turbo timer na may auto shut off. based on experience and friends recommendation

Sir stubby ganito yung pinagawa kong sealed enclosure sa monty ko, just got it yesterday. and i believe that the box above was also made by mickey's. Will post pics later, linisin ko muna, sobrang alikabok eh.

re turbo, 1 min max din po ako before shut off, regardless of how far and how hard i ran the engine. my countdown starts as soon as my ms is on full stop and is idling.

ang tanong ko po eh gano po kayo katagal magpa-init ng makina sa umaga bago lumarga? before kasi hinintay ko til the temp guage moves up even just a tad and the rpm on idling decreases bago lumarga. pansin ko kasi dito sa ms natin eh sobrang tagal bago umakyat kahit konti yung temp guage. di naman masyado bumababa rpm unlike sa gas engines na pansin na pansin ko yung pagbaba. TIA!

regarding engine warm up, as long as nawala na oil light sa dash pwede na - fully circulated na oil nun. basta avoid abrupt acceleration, hinay hinay lang wag muna lalampas ng 2K rpm.

pm'd you na sir! want to audi muna as many sound setups as possible before visiting him. he does have a good rep re the equipment he carries and the installs he makes.

re oil light, i assume iba pa ito don sa heater light that i wait until mamatay bago ko i-start. ok ok, ill check this out. but isnt it almost instant that all indicator lights shut off after the engine has started? so does this mean pwede na agad lumarga just a few secs after engine start, as what you do sir?
