i'm also a future owner of MS 3.2.

i already started reading the Strada PMS thread and i noticed that (about the cost) as well but when it comes to consumables (oil and filters) some of the Strada owners were allowed to bring their own oils for their 2.5 and 3.2 engines.

Hopefully and Personally i will go for fully synthetic this time

our gls se monty has tweeters installed. pero dapat meron din ang gls since their website says that 6 ang speakers ng gls. anyway, carworld replaced the head unit (AVT) w/ lcd of our monty and also added 2 headrests w/ lcds as well. back-up camera was also installed. around 45k ata ang cost for those upgrades. mahal nga eh. tsk tsk tsk.

Yup only GLS SE have tweeters.. Just have one installed on your GLS, it wont be pricey

Wala talagang tweeters ang GLS as confirmed to me today by the sales agent from a dealer. Abang lang daw yun. The quotations i got from two separate dealers also state that the GLS has 4 speakers only.

Hopefully, kasama na ako sa list ng monty owners by third week of Feb.

Guys.. in my opinion... even with tweeters, the original sounds of the montero really.. and i mean REALLY sucks! We have other cars here and their stocks are not too bad... so far, i think the montero's stock sounds have been the worse i've ever heard.. from the cars i've used that is. Then again, maybe because its thai? This is the 1st car i've owned that's thai.. so maybe the quality?

Anyways, stubby.. i installed focal seperates on mine.. and it comes with tweeters.. of course those are powered by the amp so that it can produce such great sounds. Sobrang simple set up lang.. just so that it doesn't break at high volumes.

how much did the sound setup cost? can you breakdown the cost for us and regarding amps where did you place them?

exactly what i thought also when i first checked out the gls on display at the dealership. didnt think of peering thru the holes anymore to check kung meron nga talaga kasi nakasabi sa website 6 eh. yun pala design lang pala! tsk tsk tsk

i must agree. they do sound awful. so i guess im not missing much then.
