Hey stubby.. i can confirm to you that there are no tweeters in our gls.. When i had my sounds installed, they opened the door panels, and guess what, there's no speakers where the tweeters are suppose to be... so there you go.. a total of 4 speakers only in the unit.

may abang ba na wires if ever magpalagay ako ng tweeters?

papalitan mo/natin na lang yung front ng separates - a jbl gto or gt5 series would cost 2K+ lang naman, yung stock rear, iwan ko lang for rearfills.

wala kc ako alam sa pag set up ng sound system...

buti pa optra ko ganda ng sounds kahit stock lang.

ayaw ko naman ng dumadagundong basta clear sounds lang

Guys, i have all my sound setup at kai audio... They tell me mine was the first monty but since then, there have been several that he setup... As for the price, it really depends on how good you want to go.. i have a friend who installed focal separates which cost 200t.. no joke.. and not an exageration. But like i said, its up to you how crazy you want to go. My setup isn't very expensive, its the amp that cost me a lot since i wanted it under the passenger seat, but the space was way too small for normal amps, so i had to get an amp that was specifically smaller.. it's a rockford fosgate amp, which was about 22-25t... all in all, without the head unit, it cost me about 60t.. focal seps, the amp, and rockford subs. 10". oh and i had sound deadening materials placed inside the door panels.. And of course wiring.

Guys question po , ano ba size ng stock speakers ng montero (front and rear)? Alam niyo ba kung anong brand ang ginamit dito?

At kung sakali magpalit ng rear disc break mayroon na kaya sa pinas?

*NTYcE: sir asan po location na KAI audio at anong modelo ng RF nailagay niyo sa ilalim ng upuan (driver side or passenger?)? Balak ko din kasing palitan stock sound system after ng warranty.

Edit: Pahabol pala, ano nga pala ang size ng headlight bulb natin, may plan din akong magchange sa HID and how much?

The speakers sounds terrible...mas maganda pa yung stock speakers ng old Revo namin. hehe

At least may naka-abang na panel sa likod ng sidemirror...just in case we want to upgrade it with seps. to have a clean look

IMO kung without tweeter ay talagang di nga maganda - kulang, yung stock ng xto ko at least 6 speakers including tweeters on top of the dashboard. like you mentioned basta clear pwede na walang amp with its jvc HU basta pili ka lang ng decent separates. depende sa budget.

ako ganun lang rin balak ko. separates sa harap then palitan ko ng 2-way coax yung sa rear. no need for sub because kailangan ko rin ang space sa 3rd row.

to any MS owners, since yung third row aircon vents eh same as that found in the 1st gen forts, meron na ba nakapag-try yung nasa youtube sa thread na na-post dun?

ito yung usok eh pumapasok sa aircon ng third row. Kung tama pagkakatanda ko eh naka-on yung aircon tapos nagsindi sya ng mga incense sticks, tapos dun sya sa labas sa tapat ng tire sa ilalim, kitang-kita sa video na pumasok sa loob ng cabin yung mga incense smoke.

curious lang ako kung ganito rin sa MS, kasi kung naka-on yun habang nasa biyahe ka(lalo pag matagal) eh pwede pumasok carbon monoxide from the exhaust, na odorless, colorless at tasteless pa naman as well as other pollutants.

pero di ko encourage mga owners dito na i-try din nila kasi baka masira interior smell. kung may MS lang din ako or may friend ako na owner din eh sinubukan ko na para i-report din dito.

sana lang may maglakas loob or baka pwede ipa-test ng mga buyers sa SA nila para ibang Monty ang gamiting guinea pig.

bro,me chance kaya na mangyari yun na pumasok sa loob kung naka recirculation yung a/c instead na sa labas kukuha ng suction ,kasi normally diba kung open yung air intake lahat yata ng amoy na di kanainais eh..nakukuha natin,nayway mas mganda siguro kung masusubukan ng sa ganon ma ishare nman sa iba diba.
