If I do this mods in an older model adventure, wouldn't it be better?
Ang tanong ko lang, how can you SQUEEZE all these things you want for a price tag of only P837,000 ????? Try to analyze the economics behind the pricing strategy. Tapos gusto mo pang lagyan ng suspension like the Pajero. There is a marketing reason behind the "less than spectacular" specs.

Clearly, this is a strip-down version of the Grand Sport targetting buyers whose budget falls within the P900,000 range. The good thing about this new Mitsu is that the "add-ons" are now optional. You can add a DVD system or back-up sensor later when you have the money if you want to. Unlike sa Fortuner na the "add-ons" are now mandatory.

Asking for an Airbag and ABS for P837,000 ???? C'mon man, you can analyze much better than that?

The Hyundai Matrix CRDi which retails for around P600K has both.

And oh... the Hyundai with only a 1.5L engine has a better power output (thanks to a turbo & it being a CRDi) than the 2.5L Adventure.

luma na talaga ang adventure..puro update on the interior and exterior looks. pero marami pa rin bumibili so i guess mitsu motors will still keep the design they have now for a couple of years pa.

you can blame that to the excise tax scheme.

sabi ng nakausap ko dati na taga-MMPC, Japan daw nag-di-dictate kung anong engine ng Adventure, which I think is true, kasi puro sa accessories lang ang nababago ng MMPC and not on the main parts like the engine, suspension, drivetrain, etc.

Hindi naman kasi marketed as performance vehicle ang Adventure dito sa Pinas. Besides, as mentioned, kung idadagdag yung mga performance features as standard, taas-presyo agad yan. Iiwasan na talaga 'yan ng target market niya, which is primarily OFWs, at magiging pointless na siyang ilaban sa Sportivo at Innova.

Yes, but does the Matrix have the same cargo-carrying capacity, or the same availability of engine parts as the Adventure? :D

Marami pa ring bumibili ng Adventure dahil mura siya. Hindi lahat ng tao kayang bumili ng Crosswind or Innova eh. Basta mura, meron at meron pa ring market yan. :praning:

    It will someday... :D

I don't understand Mitsu... at least Isuzu spent some money to make the "new" Crosswind look cosmetically different from the "old" one. And the suspension is much much better. Is there anything mechanically better about the "new" Adventure? Not so far as I see...

I wonder how long companies like Nissa, Mitsubishi and Isuzu are going to keep trying to compete in some of these car categories with the dinosaurs they have?

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
