    Excluding Lancer EX? Ok...

    1. "L-Type" 2-door Lancer of the '70's
    2. "Box Type Lancer" of the '80's (Especially Colt Lancer 1800 Turbo 150hp; not released here afaik)
    3. "Pizza Pie" GSR 2-door of the early '00s (Evo VI era)

First off, I'm 19 and someone you would expect to see dissin' old cars such as the box type. Before my dad got an Innova, I regularly drove my lolo's box type for about 2 years. It's in a crappy condition, but I have a pretty good idea on the driving characteristics of one in a better shape. If I ever hit it big, I'll get myself another box type, completely rebuild the chassis and body, put in 13" rims on low profile tires, swap the engine with a RWD 4G63 (hey I saw one before dropped on an '86 GT) with turbo and intercooler, and kick the crap out of more "modern" cars. I won't mind the lack of power steering, power windows, and power locks as long as it can drift...

Unfortunately, to tell the truth, the car was in better shape when I took those pix...when we got the Innova, my lolo never bothered to maintain the car...he said it was destined for the scrap yard...time and time again, I tried to convince him to let my dad restore the car (and possibly make it my own daily ride) but he refused and rather chose to let the car corrode to death...it's still on a running condition today, and is currently in possession of my lola's brother...

I'm still waiting for that man-and-machine moment, but when I do get the chance to get another box type, I'll never miss it...just like what guys on muscle cars worked hard for...
