TIA

space wise, mitsu wins hands down.
resale, medyo talo. luma na sya kasi eh.
performance wise, its good. nawala na yung mga suspension issues ng previous lancer dito.
fuel consumption, averages around 9-10 kpl/city, around 12-13 kpl/highway.
parts, madami.

i refered to it as luma na kasi the body has been around for 2 or 3 years already. may mga cosmetic changes lang sya from the different models. Mitsubishi just released and sells that to answer the need for the low-end market dahil wala ang mitsu na line up para dun (kaya nga kaprice sya ng Vios, etc.)
my take is that the car is ok, wala akong sinabi na hwag mong kunin. comparing it to the vios or the city, it would depend. do i need bigger space? or do i prefer something with better FC? or resale value is important? kung na answer mo itong mga tanong na ito, magiging clear sa iyo kung ano ang dapat mong kunin.
kasi kung ako tatanungin mo, the City is a better choice. Better FC, big interiors and high resale.
Dont get me wrong here, i am a lancer guy, kaya lang, if you have to make the decision, do it right the first time.

Being loaded with features doesn't necessarily make it 'new', just a little more competitive relative to other models in its class. It's an attempt to sweeten the deal and gloss over the fact that the design is showing its age.
For example, the current Adventure GLS Sport variant has more features than mine when I bought one four years ago, but it's still old, generally speaking.Last edited by Bogeyman; November 24th, 2008 at 07:51 PM.

pothie, we have the same exact dilemma. i'm thinking between the vios 1.3E or the lancer 1.6GLX. price is pretty much the same (mas mahal lang ng konti lancer). ilang bwan ko ng tinitignan vios, parang desidido na ko sa vios. tapos ngayong malapit na talaga kong kumuha i decided to check the other manufacturers.
right now i'm 70% decided to get the lancer for 2 reasons. 1) gaya nga ng sabi mo, me promo sila ngayon. aside from the 50k disc sa dp, me all-in pa yong promo nila. which translates to a total of about 100k pesoseses! sa toyota parang mahirap ng kumuha ng good deal, kahit magaling kang makipag-haggle. sobrang lakas na kasi ng benta. 2) the lancer has dual airbags. the vios 1.3e doesn't. pang-driver lang. some people tend to overlook this very important feature. part of my job is witnessing several road accidents daily, and i can attest to the importance of air bags (and of course seat belts).
i guess the only thing i need to know before i completely make up my mind is the after-sales service of mitsubishi. i know it differs from one dealership to another, but can anyone suggest a dealership that has good after-sales service? anybody with bad experience as far as getting service is concerned?
thanks!

November 26th, 2008 07:36 PM #9I'm having the same dilemma, I had already with me a quote of lancer GLX 110k * 15k for 4 years.. I'm still waiting na mag mark down ng presyo ang vios. laki kasi ng DP eh 160k pero down to 125k na siya pero di paren ako satisfied kasi na weigh ko yung mga features and looks ng lancer, and parang mas na outweigh niya ang vios pero syempre di sa FC.
