    Montero (2010) just reached 100,065km. nagadvise kasa palitan na daw yung timing belt. at attached is the quotation. malamang sa malamang taga ito pero walang no choice po ako.. wala kasing suking autoshop at mekaniko dito..

    In fairness sa casa na nag qoute sa inyo, parang ganyan din ang qoute sa akin ng local casa dito sa amin. Kaya nga i decided na kay Sir Zix na magpa palit ng timing belt.

    Bossing pa pm naman estimate sa costs. Hindi ako makapagawa kay zix kasi nasa Davao ako.

    try mo rin PM si zix kung magkano yung complete set ng parts at pa-ship sa inyo sa Davao. baka maka-save ka ng konti, pambayad mo na din sa mekaniko mo diyan sa davao

    Eto nga nakita ko sa fb quote ng casa.

    Yung coolant pala and atf every 40k daw pinapalitan as per my service advisor pero mga gen 3 timing chain na at atf and coolant every 100k na palitan.

    Sir Zix 46tkms (4 1/2 years) pa lang ung monty namin. Garage queen siya Wed and Friday lang nagagamit Rizal - Eastwood route = 14kms/30 to 45 mins travel.

    Hindi din naman hinahataw sa daan. Kailangan na ba magpalit ng timing bwlt nun? Thanks.

    I just had my timing belt replaced on my 2013 model, odometer is at 89500, but in reality mga 93 to 95,000 na siguro kasi I've been running bigger tires since 20k odo. Belt looks ok but if you'll scrutinize, may mga cracks na sa mga base ng ngipin kapag flex/bend ng pabaliktad. I was planning to stretch it to 100k kaso I fear na baka maputol at lalong lumaki ang gastos. Anyway, I ended up changing the following:

    1 timing belt
    1 balancer belt
    3 tensioner bearing
    1 balancer bearing
    4 oil seal
    1 a/c belt
    1 auto tensioner
    then may isang parang pulley tinanggal ang bearing then pinalitan ng bago.

    Less 16k yung parts and labor.
    Didn't replace yung isang outer belt na mahaba, ok pa naman daw, inspect na lang ulit after 10 to 15k kms since madali lang naman daw palitan.
