Also another inquiry. Has anybody here tried royal purple oild on our monty? I am up for 20k checkup and planning to change to synthetic oil na from mineral stock casa. I used it before sa innova ok naman. Just not sure for monty. If not royal purple, what would you recommend?

Fellow owner 'monty_GTV' uses RP. Best oil/s recommended by owners: Delo 400 multigrade, Top1 SDO, Top1HD plus, Zic, and Mobil 1 TDT. I don't say RP isn't good but considering it's price, I'd better off using the Zic or Mobil tdt. Everything still leans on personal preference. Stick to what our manual says on oil specs and follow strict oil change intervals and your diesel engine would hell go off a long way.

Dagdag lang ng tubig gawa ko.buti na lang nacheck ko.

Sira ang battery at diskarga. Pag nsa lower na dagdag nalang tubig pang battery or distilled water pwede din.

After 2 years and 4 months humina na stock battery, nag palit na din kami.

Dagdag lang ng tubig gawa ko.buti na lang nacheck ko.

Sa stock non mainte free battery, I strictly follow my owm regimen: check and replenish battery water if required monthly. No excuses. At 16,750 clocking, my April 2012 stock GS battery is still running like new.

so binuksan niyo na iyong opening hole covering ng batt bro? i should have done that din pala w/ our monty's stock batt. bumigay last summer iyong amin (oct 2012 for a/t gls-v)

maybe i should do that w/ my fd's out-of-warranty batt? hind nga ba delikado iyan?

I've been doing this on my past vehicles (Corolla, Innova) having non-maintenance free battery. Be it under or out of warranty. Hihintayin mo pa bang ma-void warranty ng battery before you check its condition? What do you mean delikado sir? Yung pagbukas ng caps? Yun nga ang purpose nun to check it's water level, and replenish it when it need be. I use syringe to inject distilled water para di ma-overfill.

yun battery nun monty namin po, maintain lang yun tubig ng battery. up to now, wala pa naman po akong problem most specially starting engine on morning (acquired monty June 2012).
