Wow naka Montero ka na pala.. Kaya pala nabenta CRV. hehehe.. -- Rick (TM)
Well, my suggestion, pakabitan mo na kagad ng filter.
Me nagbebenta ng Torque filter sa sulit, meron din akong alam na nagbebenta, dito sa may Marcos Hway.
Pero kung gusto mo ng OEM, eto part number base sa aking research -- MZ341012EX

Cool. Thanks for sharing the OEM part ID.. Dahil dyan, na Google ko itong OEM instruction/procedure re: DIY installation .. Page 7 of the PDF talks on instructions for Triton/Montero platform.

wala po sa stock config yung aircon/cabin filter, though mitsu released an aftermarked OEM version of this ika nga. yung torque advantage is washeable nga lang daw, where the OEM was designed as disposable say after 10-15k kms depending on dirt accumulated.

main reasons: passenger's health / interior air cleanliness since hindi nare recirculate ang dust particles going through the blower. other advantage, dahil nafifilter yung dumi , hindi na sobrang mag accumulate ang dirt sa blower fan and air ducts.

no prob sir. i think casa can do it, pero i guess at a higher price tag. see post above by ezrydre and my google link,, madali lang mag DIY pag nahanap na yung part sa mga mitsu genuine parts dealer.. or you can pm sir ZIX888, i think may mga stocks pa siya ng oem cabin filters

Another important advantage of having A/C cabin filter is to reduce, if not totally eliminate, the accumulation of dirt in your *evaporator* which if mixed with water (air humidity that condensed in the evaporator) can partially block air flow and also cause evaporator corrosion which can lead to refrigerant leak and A/C system breakdown. whew... Therefore, the sooner you install the cabin filter the better. Would it void warranty? If properly installed, I can't see any reason it will void any warranty. hth.

*melvin : sa pagkaalam ko nga almost lahat ng automobile may built in cabin filter na eh. just like my other car (chevrolet optra) may kasama na sya. so everytime na magpapa change oil ako pinapa check ko kung malinis pa. then kung loaded na ng dumi palit na. minsan naman pressurized pump lang para mabawasan ang dumi.

sige pag naconfim mo let us know para mapaghandaan yan. ideally, dapat talaga may cabin filter eh.

Baka sakali sa el dorado mas mura. pero for sure mas mababa don kesa sa casa. ang kuha ko lang sa kanila nong oil filter is Php 880 lang. pero sa casa Php 2,000 plus yata if I am not mistaken.

hi i am an MT sedan driver for 20yrs. now i got a 2013 montero glx AT and very satisfied. for city driving ver comfortable and surpise very fuel efficient. the AT of the montero though only 4 speed is very very efficient. tradeoff less torque than MT. but i have no problem in attaining highway speed.

as to the issue that glx may not be worth the price compared to glsv i also disagree. you can get everything in the glsv in the form of add on for 10k tire cover mouldings reverse camera and sensor except 5 items floorbox automatic aircon 5 speed at paddle shifter and vgt engine. unless you need absolutely these forking 150k for the glsv doesnt seem worth

pacheck mo sa casa.. white smoke?? might be partially clogged fuel filter or carry over oil from turbo charger outlet to engine air intake.. hula ko lang po..
