maaring makwestiyon ng casa sir kapag nakita nila pero so far wala pa naman napabalitang na-void ang warranty due to EGR blanking ;) if you back read dito sa thread, meron blanking point (N16) prior to EGR coooler and its hardly noticeable kapag dun nailagay yung plate. kahit pa tanggalin ang EGR mismo di makikita yun, not unless tanggalin yung EGR pipe from exhaust manifold.
you can pm bro zix888, he can help you with all DIY stuffs you need from your blanking plates, a/c cabin filter, oil catch can, k&n air filter, baldwin oil/fuel filters, optitron, tuning chips to upgrading your intercoolers...etc. it's not to promote him but he did most of the upgrades here![]()

Gud eve mga monty non vgt owners curious lang po about sa acceleration ng non vgt monty how many seconds does it take to reach 0-100km/h in stock form m/t and a/t
hindi ko pa na timer-an, pero responsive naman ang 4AT, kung mga stock sedan or taxi ang kasabay from an stop light e yakang yaka naman iwanan, as in iwan na pumiga din sa Go light, ngayon kung Korean or US SUV kasabay pigaan sa take-off, palagay ko kayang kaya pa rin sabayan kung hanggang 100kph to 120kph lang, ayos nga e...sulit non vgt..
Malakas pala talaga kahit non vgt na monty, so d rn pala siya pahuhuli sa current everest 2.5 tdci or fort 2.5 vnt ngaun sir and considering na vgt na ung mga un kaya nia pa rn ba sabayan un hanggang sagaran as in pedal to the metal?
agree! yakang yaka ng Non-VGT monty natin + lakas loob ng driver and below considerations:
1. EGR blanked - for quicker take-off below 2k RPM w/o the funny "smoke bomb" (also note that per my experience, blanked EGR allows the system to quickly build pressure required for the Turbo to spool earlier...)
2. performance air filter (KN&N drop-in)
3. Take it from me (me alone) -- Use Shell V-Power Nitro+ Diesel for spirited driving.. (I always do this for long drives, hatawan, and switch to Unioil / Seaoil pagbalik ng city driving)
(other level-up options: race-chip; pedal box mod; bigger intercooler).. pero kahit wala muna mga ito, matutuwa kana sa spirited driving pag nagawa mo above minimum 3.. IMHO and per personal experience.
