Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) plans to launch next year the long-overdue Galant which was totally redesigned in 2004. The top-of-the-line Galant is the 3.8 liter V6 GTS. MMPC will also bring in the 120-hp Lancer 2.0 liter and all-new Strada pickup.
    aba! 2.0 Lancer!

ilang beses naudlot ito. mauudlot kaya ulit? I hope they will price it right.

    and all-new Strada pickup
it should be the all new gen Triton/Strada/Storm. Baka nanaman walang kamatayang facelift yan.

I hope they will bring the Colt here.

    120 hp from a 2.0L engine?

    WOW!

older 4G63s can do better than that!

    ===

    they needed a 3.8L to produce 230hp * 5.25K rpm, 340Nm * 4K rpm?

    Accord 3.0L = 240hp * 5.5K rpm, 288Nm * 5K rpm
    Camry 3.0L = 210hp 5.8K rpm, 298Nm * 4.8K rpm
    Sonata 3.3L = 235hp * 6K rpm, 305Nm * 3.5K rpm
    Cefiro 3.0L = 220hp * 6.4K rpm, 301Nm * 4K rpm

Mitsubishi's engines are severely hampered by emissions controls because they're still using old architecture.

One hopes they'll bring in the 1.8 Turbo Lancer variant as a halo model... either that, or the 2.4... but I'd prefer the turbo.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

the old 1.6L Cyclone engine in the 99-02 Lancer MX with 124ps is more powerful and surely thriftier in fuel than that 2.0L!!!

power may not be very high on paper but its good that it has plenty of torque than the others and peak power is achieve at an early 5250rpm.

heard from one of the Forumer from motioncars that the Galant 3.8L will be sold for 2.3M...
if that's true, its gonna be a loser. trust me

bwahehehehe me nag agree din LOL ...... truth is i like the L300 FB ..... it's very reliable ...... the only thing i want changed of it would probably it's gearshift, it sucks pag naluluma lumuluwag na at mahirap na kambiohin. yun lang siguro kelangan nila palitan sa desing ng L300. i'm wondering why toyota doesn't hmmmm make a competing vehicle a stripped down hi-ace for commercial use ...... ang nakita ko lang ata na ganun e parang special arrangement ata ng UPS yata yun nakita ko with them. or maybe hopefully HYNDAI would introduce the PORTER here locally .... kita ko mga commercials ng HYUNDAI PORTER sa taiwan/HK channels on cable and it looks smart.
