hi again pajero experts. i would like to ask for your opinion/s again.

if you were to choose between a 1999 fieldmaster 4x4 manual transmission and a 2006 fieldmaster 4x2 automatic trans, which would you choose?

im now a bit confused on which 2nd hand unit to buy.

i like the 1999 unit because its a manual transmission, but i dont know if i really need a 4x4 vehicle, not to mention its already a 13 year old vehicle. one thing i also liked about the 1999 unit is the lack of egr, so that's one less thing to worry about maintenance wise (yes, ive been reading this thread).

i like the 2006 unit because its only 4x2 and its just 6 years old, i just dont like it being automatic and the egr thing.

their prices are not that far apart so i really need your advice that would help me finally make a decision. thanks and merry christmas!

I would get the 4x2 if hidi ka nga nag-ooffroad naman. yung EGR puwede naman i-block na lang. Search ka lang sa net on how to make a blanking plate.

Pero mas matipid ng up to 2 kms/ltr and manual plus mas madali maintenance ng MT, plus 4x4 pa nga. Depends on your needs na rin. If mostly city driving ka pa, AT na.

For me I would choose yung mas bago (2006 FM) para less maintenance in the long run. Taking into account pareho silang well maintained ng may ari.

Or you can buy a washer with led lights as replacement, just buy a good brand.

dami niyan sir, para sakin i have always wanted yung parang fine spray (99 xp)not like the oem na 2 projected lines of spray. sabi ko if magbara yung oem yun ganun ipapalit ko, kaso hindi pa din me kelangan magpalit eh. sayang naman yung oems

Yung akin barado na hehe kaso hassle palitan. Yung lanawit sa hood kailangan pa tangalin hehe

sir zix... sa camry yata.. spray niya ganyan din.. parang fine.. kayalang di pako nakakakita sa xp kaya di ko masabi.. kayalang kalat..
pero may problema daw sir.. yung pump daw dapat mas mataas pressure...

yung pinost ko po.. napulot ko lang po yan sa uk websyt ng pajero club nila...

post ko din po ito.. baka kasi may matuwa.. and gumawa kayo toys.. displays:D ako meron.. ng kotse ko.. hahaha

If mag o-offroad ka, get the 99' 4x4 if not dun ka na sa 06'... Pero syempre baka mamaya mas sariwa yung 99 dun syempre... Yung M/T kaya daw mag 9km/l while kami na naka A/T around 6-7km/l lang..

Yung 4x2 ko, 6-7km/l sa city. Then 8km/l sa highway.

one last question, is 2006 the latest year the fieldmaster was sold in the philippines? was there a m/t option on the 06 model? thanks.

Guys, my FM's rear air conditioner suddenly stopped working. The on / off switch just won't light up anymore. It was working fine the other day when I used it. Any suggestions as to where I can bring it? My preference is the Makati or San Juan area. Mang Mario's a bit too far for me. Thank you.

Yung nagandahan ako sa quality is yung Type R brand. Sa mga surplues meron din sir puwedeng mabili. Pili ka na lang na trip mo na design.

BTW, had many time to kill yesterday kaya binuksan ko OCC after almost 10,000kms at kunti lang oil na nakuha ko. Nag-repaint na din me.

Mga chongs san ba pwede magpapalit ng jump seats to front facing third row seats...panay reklamo yung panganay ko dahil nung nag probinsiya kami dis undas siya ang naka toka sa likd lolo at lola sa 2nd row, asar na asar sakin e..hehehe

Magkano to inaabot kasama installation? Mag bubutas ba uli o pwede na yung pinagturnilyuhan ng jumpmseats?

Try seatmate sir meron sila. yes may abang yan alam ko.. dun din yata kung saan nakaturnilyo yung jump seats. In my 03 FM before, nakakuha ako swap sa 96 pajero. tapos pina reupholster ko to match the leather seats sa fron.. Naglagay pa ako headrest for the euro look..

Sir yup foldable siya. It was OEM of the gen 2. Wala na modifications sa mounting. Wala na kasi ako pictures sold the FM 2 years ago. The seats were free kasi swap kami nung kakilala ko. The reupholstery around 7k.
