AFAIK, correct me if Im wrong, the Toyota SUA is different from the MS SUA.

Majority of the Toyota SUA in the US, the car is already in motion when the SUA occurred.
The SUA incidents were not isolated to one Toyota model but to different models including a model of its sister company Lexus.
And the SUA incidents were not confined to the US but it also happened in Europe and probably also in China.

While in the MS case in the Phil, the SUA happened while starting the vehicle.
SUA is only isolated to MS, despite it shared the same platform with Strada.
SUA is only reported in the Phil, despite the MS in SE Asia are all manufactured and assembled in Thailand

In the case of the Toyota SUA, it can be assumed that its a part defects, because the incident happened across different Toyota models.
In the case of the MS SUA, it cannot be assumed that the defect is symptomatic to all MS as it only affects a few Phil units.
If the MS SUA is a part defect, then we should be seeing the same SUA across all Mitsu vehicles sharing the same parts, i.e, Strada/Triton, Pajero Sports, Challenger, etc.
