Fortis Lancer EX 1.6L
4A92 DOHC MIVEC = 117ps * 6,000rpm
torque = 154 N-m * 4,000rpm
curb weight = 1210kg
Cedia Lancer 1.6L
4G18 SOHC MPI = 110ps * 6,200rpm
torque = 138 N-m * 4,500 rpm
curb weight = 1140kg
The new engine has more torque and the A/T tranny has a lower gearing which should cope easily with the Fortis' body.Last edited by ghosthunter; July 7th, 2012 at 04:34 PM.

^ As per the brochure, its the 1.6L MIVEC Engine (4A92). 4G18 yung sa Cedia na 1.6L din afaik.
Also, DOHC na din yung 4A92, so I believe FC will be better.

nice. more torque at even lower RPM available. that should be fuel efficient. that is the usual set up of Toyotas. not much on horsepower, but focus is on torque at lower RPM so you dont rev the engine much. Right Honda? ;) :D

Lancer EX 1.6 GLX/MX - 165 mm
Lancer EX 2.0 GT-A - 150 mm
Hyundai Elantra - 150 mm
Toyota Altis - ~150 mm
None of these cars have ground clearance that's even comparable to the gen 1 CR-V.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
