If ever yung 'sportback' yung ilalabas nila dito sa 2007, patok yun. Assuming they don't scrimp on the engine.

Sigh... at least the Sentra got a bigger interior when they "changed" models. But both seem to be the bottom of the barrel in terms of tech nowadays. (Yes, they're nice cars, but not very modern anymore).
    di naman niky!

i'm surprised people love to bash the current sentra. arguably the engine of the 1.3L (QG13DE) is more sophisticated than that of the mazda3!

    compare:
    QG13DE 1.3L 95hp with VTC
    MZR-Z6 1.6L 105hp with S-VT

arguably, mazda has the LEAST sophisticated variable valve timing technology in the current cars (simple cam-phasing of the intake valves only, by tensioning the timing chain). but i don't see anyone bashing the mazda3. por que maganda lang siya! hahahaha!

AFAIK the qg13de doesn't have VTC...

I think it's the 1.6 that has it

you're right, wala siyang VTC. pero 95hp siya. pretty good for a 1.3L engine.

marketing strategy lang yung free gas with the rising fuel prices - instead of giving out rebates which is what other brands do. as for the facelift i'm not sure if they will come out with the version showed here - what i do know is that they are thinking of bringing in a sportier model with a 4g63 2.0l DOHC engine developing close to 150 horses.
