Mitsubishi fuel system cleaner

Guys, para saan ba ito? is this really needed? I went to Diamond motors for the 5,000 PMS for my gen3 pajero. The SA told me na dapat lagyan ko daw ng fuel system cleaner yung pajero.

Most probably because madumi talaga diesel natin dito sa Pinas eh. Eh since SA ng Diamond nag-sabi sa yo nyan, sana ginawa na lang nilang standard sa Pajero mo, diba? Mag-kano daw ba yung fuel system cleaner sa casa? Yung tropa ko kse may Tamaraw FX na diesel tapos DIY lang nya yung fuel system cleaner nya. Actually, redundant na dalawang fuel filter yung ginawa nya. I'm not sure if that is the same with your Pajero that the SA is telling you about.

It's actually an additive, mura lang naman. They charged me php222.73 (1 liter) for it. Parang nilagay lang yata nila sa fuel tank eh.

Di ko talaga ma-gets eh. Tingin ko kse sa mga additive eh pang-add lang sa benta ng mga SA eh! hehehe! Pero I guess ok lang kse mura lang sya. Ano sabe ng SA mo about the frequency ng paglagay nito? Every full tank ba or every 5,000kms? Na-curious talaga ako!

pasingit po mga boss,,,panlins po sya ng daluyan ng gas.sa kaso nyo po bago pa po pajero nyo so hindi nyo pa po sya kailangan.mostly mga 3 yrs up kailangang gumamit nun kasi malamang barado na yun. pero effective din po yun cleaner na yun...

Do I still need to use this fuel system cleaner?

I just noticed kasi sa mga recent na PMS ko sa casa.. everytime I changed oil parati nilang nilalagyan ng fuel system cleaner... medyo mahal e.. mga Php 500.
Masakit din sa bulsa...

Actually, you do not need an additive on your fuel naman eh. Parang-extra lang yun kung gusto mo but not required. Nain-triga kse ako kse akala ko gadget sya eh fuel additive lang pala. Stick to the traditional fuel, oil and PMS ng ride mo. Bio-diesel is actually a fuel additive, not fuel per se so it's optional for you to put in your ride.

So meron palang fuel system cleaner pa side from the fuel filter?!

Btw, I forget lang po, when do you have to start thinking of replacing your fuel filter? 70t kms? 100t kms? 200t kms?
