LANCER Itlog (93-96) Owners - Please Post Here!

hi guys newbie here. need ur help



a few weeks ago ung lancer glxi 95 matic ko encountered a problem. for sometime na, malakas ang nginig ng kotse ko, attributed ata sa engine support ko. pero i just ignored it kasi tolerable naman. pero last week lalong lumakas ung tremble nya at parang naghihingalo ung makina. pagka start ng oto, parang mamamatay ung makina especially ung unang apak ko sa break to drive. so dinala ko sa petron service center kasi baka kailangan na i-change oil and change ATF. pero pinacheck ko muna sabi sakin servo kit daw, kasi hinawakn ung area na un na un at parang tumatagas ata. hinawakan ko at parang mei aspalto o gomang tunaw akong nahawakan. so tinuloy ko ung change oil/atf and spark plug. nawala ung parang namamatay na makina and back to dati ulit, good running trembling condition except for the tremble pag nakamenor/ pag kukurba at pagka naka break while on drive.

pero kahapon, eto nangyari. galing ako sa monumento on my way to qc. meron akong kinarga sa trunk ng kotse pero it seeems di ko nasarado ng maayos ung trunk and since maraming karga, di naman bumuka along the way. well eto naging problema ko, half way home, namatay ung radio ko and my lights seem to become duller and duller, tapos nagwiper ako pahina ng pahina ung wiper, inof ko muna aircon kasi parang bumabagsak ung rpm ko, hangang malapit nako sa bahay, everytime ginagamit ko ung flasher ko tumataas ung rpm nag sspeed up ako. pagdating ko bahay, sobrang hina na ng lights ko. on idle mode, nakapark ung kotse, sinubukan ko ulit ung flasher/hazrd at akyat ang rpm ko todo. kaya pinatay ko ung makina. so sobrang alala ko, inistart ko ung oto pero wala ng power. i did this for a few tries pero wala parang nadiskarga ung battery. di ko naman macheck un baterya kasi madilim e.

in short di naman madidiskarga ung battery if ung trunk e bukas kasi umaandar naman ako till i found out na di ko nasarado. ano kaya problema sa oto? servokit kaya? battery/ btw ung battery is 2 year old na got it bnew. o baka sa electronics nya.

i researched on these symptoms and it led me here and read about the servo kit more. parang servo kit ata ang problem ko. kaya pa kaya ng repair to? btw kanina i tried starting the engine, umandar naman pero my rpm is at 2000 at hindi na bumababa, my powerlock keep on locking and unlocking. i turned it off and switch again pero wala ng power.

although i only have an el itlog, your problem in the first paragraph appears to be a servo problem. usually nililinisan yan. pero kung may problema na, surplus na bagsak mo. bring it to raymond sarol, 09209252290. sa san juan lang siya, blumentritt near aquinas school.

as for the second paragraph problem, looks like an electrical problem. either your alternator isn't charging your battery anymore or your battery is already due for replacement OR it could be a combination of both. you can bring your battery to your suki who has a battery tester para makita kung mahina na talaga. usually the batteries, particularly local kahit pa motolite, are good for only two years.

after i had my suspension fixed by RS, he told me to have my itlog camber aligned. so thats what i did. wala naman major na pinagbago ang ride. still smooth as silk.

btw, when i went for my camber, the suspension shop started filing away at my new shocks!! syempre na SHOCK (pardon the pun) talaga ako. i told them "huhu bago ang mga shocks na yan" but they assured me that its safe and it had to be done kasi di talaga makukuha ang correct camber if they didnt do this.

i consulted RS abt this and he agreed, had to be done, its safe and wont be bad in the long run.

im crossing my fingers. only telling you guys this para di kayo mashock if the camber guys pull out the long metal files.

may nabibili namang camber kit ah. ako yun na lang ginawa ko sa lancer ko para ma-align nila. kaso mejo mahal yung turnilyo na yun.

yes ive seen that camber kit for sale somewhere on the local forums. mura sya actually, if you were to compare it to the camber kit for the honda ek.

oh yeah, definitely cheaper than honda. di na talaga uso kikil ngayon, it wouldn't help your camber and shocks in the long-term.

let's keep this thread alive. na rear-end yung itlog ko ng jeepney last thursday, kaya ayan nasa shop ngayon. since di na talaga pantay yung kulay, i've decided to have it layered with a new paint job - scrape to metal na.

also got the lexus type brake lights and amber corner lights. i'll get the crystallized head lights maybe next month.

as for the bumper, i've decided against getting the libero type.

mga pre tanonong ko lang kung may alam kayo na magaling mag calibrate ng carburator kasi yung lancer el 1995 model ko ang lakas sa gas 1 liter to 6 km Fc . ok namn yung hatak bagong change oil at tune up . pero malakas pa din sa gas . odo reading 120,000 + km na .tnx

Itlog owner before 1993 to 1997 (GLXi)...TKV 832 plate no.. O.T....im the original owner...i saw this in sta.ana bugbog na sobra.. kawawa naman 2nd place before 1994 at transport show sa megamall with 16 rota(BBS) mags and evo III bodykit by redline pa naman yan pero binalik yung original bumper kaya pumangit porma..baka nandito rin kasi owner.. kamustahin ko lang if you need help to restore pa yung auto just PM me...

hi...newbie here from cavite...mine is a 94 glxi stock lang po...kakakuha ko lang last october 3...bale sa mga dealer ng cars ko nabili...may problem ako sa suspension...magkakaiba ang springs...sa front,5 turns sa left and 6 turns naman sa right...sa rear,9 or 8 turns yata sa left and 10 turns naman sa right...nakita ko lang po nung nagpapalit ako ng ball joints and nagpalit ng new tires...may rattling sound sya sa front right side kapag hindi smooth ang road na semento...sa aspalto naman,walang ratting sound kahit hindi smooth...kahit po biglang malubak yung front right at 50km to 60km per hour,minsan meron minsan wala...and isa pa po,while turning the steering wheel sa right,kapag malapit na magfull right,may lumalagutok...hindi naman sya nararamdaman sa steering wheel at naririnig ko malapit sa shock absorber's top mount...medyo naka-angat po kase ang bushing due to the height of the spring(6 turns)...ask ko lang po kung 5 turns po ba ang coil spring na stock??sa rear po,10 turns po ba??i'm planning to replace all coil springs...TIA...
