    Good day mga sir. Need help. Ano kaya problema ng itlog ko. Sa una maganda ang takbo nya pero mga after 30mins pag mainit ang panahon kumakadyot na nawawalan ng power pag nagaovertake kahit anong tapak ko sa gas. Pero pag gabi o maulan hnd naman nangyayare. Thank you in advance.

    very minor - loose bolts and screws. all you have to do is to tighten.. but if your threads are loose... heh heh. hindi na minor..
    minor - perished gaskets. open and replace!
    semi-major - hole-y, bent or distorted sheet metal. depends on degree... loose threads around oil drain plug.. may be fix-able..
    major - perished crankshaft oil seal.
    disaster - bent crankshaft! cracked or warped engine block or head!

    thank you sir! head gasket ang source ng leak. Ok na ulit ngayon. Umabot ng 18K pagawa. Sulitin ko muna mga isang taon gamit pa bago upgrade.

    ah binuksan ang makina sir, nilinis daw. Tapos palit fluids, spark plug, tune-up ng idle (mataas daw, pinababa). Medyo mahal labor dito sir, actually 45K sa pesos sinisingil ng shop sa akin, e 2500 dollars ko lang nabili itong sasakyan last year. Buti may nagrefer sa akin pinoy mechanic and quoted 500dollars kaya umabot 600dollars actual. (1dollar=34pesos)

    EFI na yan diba? i doubt na mababang silinyador lang, otherwise, hindi dapat nanginginig sa high gears.

    Mga sir, patulong naman po. May binibili kasi akong auto. Lancer glxi na '93. Na check ko na siya kanina. Palagay ko hindi naman siya blow by. Wala naman siyang talsik sa dip stick at di naman ma usok ang bucho. Malakas din hatak nya. Ang problema lang palyado siya pag unang andar. From 1st gear palyado. Pero pag hintaw na papasok sa 2nd gear and so on wala nang palya. Pero pag memenor na babalik ang palya. Saan kaya problema? Efi po ba yun? May ina-adjust din po ba na air at fuel mix kagaya ng carbureted na auto? O nag papa palit ng spark plugs? Help po. Thanks in advance.
