Very important ito.

One time last year, after I park my car, the usual thing i do after stopping the engine is to put it on hand brake. When I start the car the next day, after I release the hand break, the brake indicator light is still on. I try to pull up again the hand break and release with the same result. I ignore it for the day but the same symptoms occur. I thought there was something wrong with the hand break, the break light indicator or the break itself.

After a few days, when I try to verify the engine oil level for maintenance check, I found out that it was below the minimum mark, so i try to add some oil to reach the maximum level. Then, I noticed that the brake light indicator is now back to normal, it lights on when the hand brake is pull up then off when released. Is the break light that is always turned ON an indicator if the engine oil is below the minimum mark?

I think there is no connection between engine oil and the brake light indicator it is connected to the brake fluid level it lights up when BFluid is low.
The oil engine indicator will light up if engine oil is low. HTH

Sorry. You are right, It was the brake fluid. My bad. It so happen that I filled also the engine oil but not that particular day, maybe a week after the incident. Yes, the brake fluid indeed, so it lights on when the brake fluid is low. I'll update my notes. Thanks.
