    Hello po mga ka-pizza, may katanungan po ako...
    I keep hearing rumors that some time soon all gasoline will have ethanol blended into them (E10) also, they say it is only recommended for EFI engines (since its sensors can adjust for the different burning properties of this fuel) and that the corrosive properties of ethanol has some bad effects on the carburetor, fuel lines and gas tank of older cars like my 97 Pizza carb

    how true is this mga sir? TIA

    I believe that "some time soon" you're referring to is still in the very, very distant future. Maybe when that time comes and all gasoline are e10 blended, baka na dispatsa mo na yang pizza mo.

    so I wouldn't be too worried about that.

    salamat sa advice sir.. ano po kaya na engine pwede palit na 2.0 cc? yung mga pang evo? mga how much po kaya aabutin ng price? if di po ako mag engine swap, palit nalang po ako bigger brakes at lagay intercooler pero stock engine lang po tapos lagay turbo? ok kaya yun? besides sa turbo sir ano pa po pwede dagdag sa engine para dagdag power? thank you in advance..btw may strut bar narin po pala ito..

    Tama yung sinabi ni 1D. Ang nitrogen gas need to be refilled every six months (recommended), tapos sasabayan mo na rin yan ng complete alignment (wheel/camber) kasi gagalawin yung shocks mo pag nag refill, mababago camber nyan.

    Yung stock na fluid type and pwedeng iconvert. Lalagyan nila yan ng pito para dun ikarga. Pwede mo siyang gawing stiffer or malambot depende sa pressure nung nitro.

    Refill costs 400 per pair ata. Yung initial conversion if Im not mistaken 1400-1800 ang range.

    Kung gusto mo long-term na solution, but medyo mahal, palitan mo na lang ng bago, pair ata nasa 7K plus. Try calling El Dorado. Kung kulang sa budget, nitro refill will do, but hassle yung refill job twice a year, plus yung additional bayad mo pa sa wheel alignment, instead once a year, 2 beses mo na papagawa.

    Yep, hanap ka na lang. Delikado yun, baka di lang front bumpers may prob. Baka may iba pa na di mo nakikita sa physical attributes nung wheels.

    Hello mga ka pizza!!! ask ko lang po ano po maganda gamitin brand ng ATF?? Sa Engine oil I use Pertua, next ko na kce ATF i need a nice brand ng ATF..not totally nice brand but nice performance and purity po ng ATF..

    ok 4g92 pala. ^4G92 is the code of just one engine. baka isipin mo 4G92 lahat nang engine na kamukha ng engine ng GSR.. hehehehe

    you dont need an intercooler without having a turbo. its useless. i think pwede dyan engine ng galant.

    KYBs the cheapers of the bunch. afaik, i've seen one adjustable gas shocks being sold for 7.5k each. and KYB lang is non-adjustable.

    an alternative is conversion via Cruven/Zee. i think they can also convert gas shocks so that it could be refillable. cost for conversion, i think is 750 per shock. ok naman sya. in fact yung pizza ko has been using a cruven converted shock for four years. pinapa check ko lang yung pressure nya every year.

    if you have no choice except to use e10 on your pizza, i would be worried more on the gas tank than on the cars and the fuel lines.

    e10 is more corrosive on cork and certain rubbers found on old time carburators. but new carbs contain neoprene, which resists the corrosive properties of ethanol.

    ethanol can eat the coating on most gas tanks, so if it cannot be avoided, the gas tank should be coated with a corrosive resistant material like polyetheline.

    i had tried using E10 on my pizza siguro more than ten times. what my mechanic did was to advance the timing a few steps, and it went fine. you just need to change your fuel filter more frequently. dahil as my experience, mas mabilis sya dumumi.

    converting your carburated engine to a fuel injected engine will take lots of steps, and lots of money. you need a computer box (ecu), a MAF sensor, o2 sensors, harnesses, etc.

    Thanks 1D4LV for your suggestion, before my plan is to convert it to nitro gas shocks, kaso nag tanong tanong po ako sa mga barkada ko naka nitro shocks mahirap din sa maintenance at bigla sumisingaw po. salamat po sa turo niyo, malamang po ay palitan ko na lang shocks na KYB, mahal po pala KYB ung AGB nila... tungkol naman po sa E10 delikado po ba talaga yun sa gas tanks at gas lines ??? worried po pati ako un po kce gamit ko sa pizza ko ngaun GLXi A/T po... ano po ba pwede mangyari pag E10 ang gamit???

    i think the glxi variant can use e10 without any effects (except for the fuel tank effect, which is still not proven).

    on the shocks, if you can afford it, go for the adjustable gas shock option, kaya lang it costs 7k each. matibay yun. but if you cannot, you have two options, the cruven route or the kyb route. but definitely, gas shocks are more durable than fluid ones. baka isolated case yung sa barkada mo.
