December 19th, 2013 09:04 PM #1yup, ganun din sa akin, medyo mabagal bumaba yung rpm, napapansin ko to tuwing galing ako mag drive sa cable linkage accelerator or low tech na sasakyan, lalo na kung manual transmission yung MS mo kadalasan pag apak mo sa clutch in gear shifts naiiwan yung rpm.
i'm not sure baka setting talaga sa electronics nya na medyo delayed bumaba yung rpm, or baka din ma resolve if mag install ka sprint booster or air filter upgrade ka.

November 11th, 2013 06:21 AM #3Wag wd40, belt dressing dapat. tignan mo din yung sa alternator belt baka dun galing,makikita mo kung may black dust from the belt sa alternator. nangyari na din kasi sa akin yan..akala ko pulley bearing kasi kalansing ng metal plus may belt squeaking sound. pinapalitan ko lang yung a/c at alternator belts at nilinis ang pulleys at may kalawang at dumi, kapag di masyado gamit ang sasakyan ay naiipon ang dumi sa pulley. Nawala na yung kalansing at belt squeaking, maaring bumalik ang squeaking sound after few months kasi luluwag yung new belts, i-adjust na lang yun tension para sumikip ng kunti,

well...after 8k kms on blank EGR, nag check engine light monty ko....what do you think guys seems to be the problem? no limp mode btw...

January 23rd, 2014 09:51 PM #8goodevening mga ka tsikot tanong ko lang yung problema ng montero namen,almost 6 months pa lang pero nangyare na twice parang ang tagal mag start ng monty namen hindi siya yung usual parang 2 sec bago mag start,pansin ko to pag naka ilaw yung fuel gauge,hanggat hindi ako nag papagas eh ganun pa din.pero pag nagpagas na nagiging normal yung pag start ng engine.never ko na experience sa iba naming sasakyan to eh tingin nyo battery ang problema?thanks

Pansin ko lang sa monty namin, bumibitaw yung transmission kapag umaandar. Nawawala yung letter D sa panel. As in walang nakaflash kung san nakalagay yung kambyo kahit nasa D lang naman. Ang natitira lang dun sa LCD cluster, yung trip at odo. Kapag inilagay sa N tapos ibabalik sa D, nawawala naman pero babalik din yung problema moments later. Minsan hindi nasosolusyunan ng pagshift sa N. Minsan kailangan ilagay sa manual mode para magkaron ng Drive ulit. In short, nagnuneutral sya ng wala sa lugar kahit walang movement na ginagawa sa kambyo.
Mostly city driving kasi nagagamit so baka isa sa factor.
Pakiramdam ko lang na possible ECU problem. (Not sure so I decided to post here)
May past issue nga pala yun dati. Yung kinalawang na fuel tank. Napalitan na yung fuel filter and fuel tank under warranty. Mga second week of January napalitan. (I thought I should mention it because it might be a factor)
Montero Sport 2.5L 4x2 GLS yung unit.

May 4th, 2014 09:27 AM #10Same issue sa Montero ko. I have a 2011 Montero GLS. Last, April 27, 2014 I was in an uphill climb about to overtake a very slow bus. My speed tailing the bus was only about 30KPH. When I tried to accelerate the transmission disengaged from "D" with no display at all sa LCD panel though the engine still running. I guess it shifted to N. I tried the manual shift but still no display and not shifting to any gear. When I shifted to P only then the LCD gear display was restored then shifted to D then doon lang ako naka drive forward ulit.
For about 3 times on my way home, whenever I am on full-stop or slowly accelerating I experienced the same issue and resolved it with the same change shift from P to D.
I have it checked with Diamond Motors on April 30, 2014 and they immediately told me that it is a known issue which is the Inhibitor Switch. They said that it is no longer covered by warranty so I have it replaced for Php 5K parts and 2K labor.
This issue is actually quite dangerous particularly when it first happened to me overtaking a bus uphill. This should be covered by a recall with the parts replacement at Mitsubishi's expense.
