May 6th, 2003 09:31 AM #1Peeps!
My 3dr Paje which I acquired sometime in Nov 2001 has been having this problem.
Siyempre, palit lining, pressure plate and release bearing.
What to do? Nakaka 6,300 na ako and the sound is still there.
Any help is very very much welcome.
Salamat poe.

Did you use OEM lining, pressure plate and release bearing? Did you check your pilot bearing? What model ( Gen1 or Gen2)diesel or gas?

May 6th, 2003 09:47 AM #3let me check on the brand used. come to think of it, i wasn't able to see it anymore. but if its any assurance, the one who did the job is a friend who would definitely replace the part if he declares he did replace that part. And yes, I forgot to mention, palit na rin pilot bearing. Gen 2 po this, diesel.

Noon nag palit ako was all replacement. After installing it may clinking, clank-clank sound. Sabi ng mechanic ko it will disappear (as in my other rides in the past). It didn't. So I reverted it back to the OEM pressure plate (still good !) , bought OEM clutch lining (really different in term of heavy duty use from the replacement) and OEM bearing. And the noise disappear after a little use. check also your crossjoint.

I tried to change the bearing part then after a week bumalik din agad yung sound.
