Is it a factory clutch?
Is there any play in the pedal?
The pedal should have half inch of play, play being the travel of the pedal before it start to push on the clutch.
Often times, worn clutches have the Master cylinder adjusted out completly to push hard, to compensate for a weak pedal.
If you have No play, I would have it checked.
