August 12th, 2005 04:58 PM #12Acceleration is really the downside for diesel cars in general. But I think most people get the diesel version for the functionality first then the performance second. I agree that toyota and isuzu are ahead with mitsubishi in terms of diesel engine technology but that's outside the topic. thanks for your comments, guys !!!

really depends on your plan of use for the vehicle.
diesel matipid pero do not believe the hype na aabot ng more than 10 kms /liter yan very very very VERY rare occassion lang yan.
in terms of maintenance, mas mahal ang fuel filter ng diesel, pero mas hindi problemado. actually ako lang nag memekaniko nung Adventure namin dati.
speaking from experience of owning an Adventure for more than 4 yrs.

August 13th, 2005 09:18 AM #16Rediesel, diesel ba yung adventure mo?
Bakit, most Macoys with diesel adventure are saying at least 10km/liter consumption nila?

sir, it really depends. kung ako, i'll get the diesel kung efficiency ang pag-uusapan. i've driven the adventure diesel. its good, but it takes time getting used to.
on fuel consumption, nasa driving style yan. if you want to save some fuel, be prepared to change your driving style. or part with your hard earned cash.Last edited by ian_rex; August 13th, 2005 at 09:32 AM.

(as in jackrabbit start on evry occasion)

It sounds like a potential headache for the unlucky ones that got their units from EV solutions PH...
