Pa check ko lang sa mga experts dito.

I have a 98 galant shark type automatic , got it a couple of weeks ago and didnt notice that the auxiliary fan was tapped to the aircon switch, meaning kung off ang aircon off din ang fan.

So medyo nag over heat pero naagapan naman. i had it checked and it seemed fine, wala naman daw tama ang head. A few days later as i was crusing mga 40 kph, suddenly the engine sounded like it was a boat and power was significantly lower even if i floored the gas pedal.

I had it running in that condition for 2 to 3 km until i decided to switch off the engine, and when i tried to crank it up again, ayaw ng mag start. Ang tunog was like a woodpecker knocking on wood na.

May tama na kaya ang head ko? overhaul na ba to? Note lang, hindi siya nag overheat or naghalo ang water at oil.

I suspect you lost compression in one or more cylinders your engine.

Don't drive it. Have it towed to avoid further damage.

In the least you might require a top overhaul the engine.
