If i baby the accelerator, very gradual starts till 1.8k rpm, shift up, i get 8km/l. Its in the highway, where this car shines, i get 12km/l, abusing the "6th" gear.

there is a schedule for replacing the timing belt. why not ask the casa if your car's info is in the program.. that should include timing belt replacement.
when i bought my used AT, the previous mechanic taped on the cover, the km reading when the belt was replaced. bless him..
if you have no idea when the belt was replaced, and you want peace of mind, then just have the belt changed pronto.
