    Hi guys need help here..

Ano po bah ang reason pag tumataas ang temp? I had my rad overhauled already.. Brand new din water pump ko.. Bagong palit head gasket ko.. Nag palit ako ng camshaft last week but pag tingin namin gastado na din yung shaft ng rocker arm.. Could this be the problem?? Hindi nka set yung clearance? Or kailangan na kasi palitan ng liner and piston ring.. Could it also be the culprit?? Pls help me.. Ito lang kasi ride ko and I have to drive my kid to school and fetch him also.. Ginagamit ko din ito sa business namin.. Your help will be very much appreciated.. Thanks po..

    1. Pa check mo kung tama ang torque ng bolts sa head gasket.
    2. Overhauling a radiator is not a sure thing. pag bulok na ang radiator it wont help. This is what happened to my old Kia Ceres. Temp rises even after radiator overhual. I replaced it with a new radiator and no more problems.
    3. Do you still have a thermosat? It may be stuck. Easy way to check is hold your upper radiator hose when engine is warm. It should be hot. If its cold you have a stuck t-stat.
    4. A loose fan belt can also cause temp increase.
    5. Check your radiator fans and relays. Check if they working properly.

    - That'd be a big possibility problema lang is hindi ko alam kung ano ang pinaka mataas na torque ng engine ko.. Last time ng nag change kami ng head gasket 100 yata yung nka indicate sa torque..

    - I was there when my rad was overhauled and ok pa naman malinis na malinis pa nga sabi nga nag overhaul..

    - This I dont know and I'll try to check on this..

    4. A loose fan belt can also cause temp increase.

    - I checked my fan belt and it needs to be changed since it already has cracks..

    5. Check your radiator fans and relays. Check if they working properly.

    - Rad fan is doing fine.. Automatic naman cya.. On and Off..

Check your temp sensor.

Ano ODO mo? Nagbasa ka na ba sa
    Temperature and Aircon Thread?

Ano ba connection ng camshaft, rocker arm, and rocker arm shaft sa
    problema mo sa temperature?

Mechanic ba talaga kausap mo? Paano siya naging Mechanic?

Ano service history ng cooling system mo?Why havent you checked
    your thermostat?

If he is a marine engineer then he should know that marine engine protocols would severely damage automotive engines using raw water, marine engine cooling system are constructed differently compared to automotive engine cooling system.

If he cant fix your problem, then you really have to get a automotive
mechanic maybe he cant tell the difference between a open or closed
cooling system. And most probably operates his fleet of 20 eagle engines
    as raw water cooled engines.

check nalang the valve clearance and compression po...

you can also check blowby by running the engine and see how much steam are you getting from the opened oil cap or the oil dip stick...

you can also try removing your thermostat and bring it to your kitchen... boil it... measure it with a thermometer... check it if it opens and if it closes...

Sometimes the cause is just a busted reservoir tank (di na sealed) or a busted radiator cap.
