    Hi smoke!
Saan yung source ng tunog na mahangin? Naka-direct ba radiator fan mo?

Ok na pala cyclone engine ko. Pinaadjust ko yang tappets as suggested by zero.

Just this morning, a mechanic road tested my Elantra 94 model. The engine has similarity to Mitsu's cyclone. My complaint is the typewriter "clickity-clackety" sound which is faintly heard at highway (flat road) driving but becomes very loud when climbing up, when the car demands lots of torque.

The mechanic said the hydraulic adjuster might be the culprit. This component is responsible for the proper opening and closing of the valves. Although, I have no way to be sure. All I'm certain is the noise is generated from the valve mechanism. Since I have to use the car today, I'll go back to the shop next week to have the repair jobs done.

I am really concerned because my FC has suffered. At city driving with stop and go traffic, FC is worse at 6~7km/L.
