    current ride : local Pajero Gen 2
    transmission : mt / 4x4
    engine: 4d56t

    pag bibili pa ko ng surplus na 4m40 swak ba agad to sa pajero ( engine support , radiator , transmission ) or just buy another 4d56t

    Matrabaho palit so much better na new 4d56 or overhaul na lang IMO. The steep costs is not worth it IMO. Iwan ka pa dinsa mga crdi eh hehehe

    a few years ago, someone did this already, you can try to search past threads, this was done but a little pricey it is not a simply plug and play. best if you overhaul or buy a surplus 4d56t from a reputable supplier shop

    just an update , nakabili na kami ng surplus japan 4d56 worth 62k, mahal pala talaga ang diesel engine, tomorrow is the day!

    Mahal kasi in-demand yan. Pero parang sobrang mahal naman. Better if overhaul na lang, mga 30-40K lang sana. Muzta na ride mo?

    na try na namin i overhaul twice yung 4d56,

    1st overhaul - tumagal ng 1 year using oem parts
    2nd overhaul - tumagal ng 1 day ( while nag tetestdrive going to tanay, hindi umakyat yung langis ayun may nasira sa segunyal)

    after that bumili na kami ng surplus 4d56

    FYI , may japan,taiwan at korea made 4d56 so ingat sa pag pili

    nakakabit na po sa pajero ko yung 4d56 surplus bumalik na ulit sa normal
