Have experience with my New MS GTV after 1000 km service was complete change oil with turbo xp and after 3000 km found very dark crankcase oil. I, wonder if this is normal for crdi engine?

Oil naturally gets dirty over time. Especially on diesels. As long as the level doesn't start going down, it's okay.

    5000km ba yung service interval?

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Yeah that's true. Magtaka ka kung hindi umiitim. hehe

    5,000km nga recomended interval.

A perfectly normal condition in every diesel engine. The oil washes the engine of contaminants, the filter then cleans them out.

Since inilabas ko ang unit ko after 1000km service nagtop up ako ng V-power diesel with the consent of my dealer and they said ok daw ang V-power diesel.
So now, I finally decide to renew my oil at 5000 km even the PMS is top up and new filter lang ang recommendation.
Lesson learned: no more V-power in my MS

Normal especially on diesel. And I think it has nothing to do w/ your gasoline. Actually, if you check the oil in the dip stick, yes it's black.. but if you drain it to some pan, you'll see it's not that dark after all. Same banana w/ our VGT.

I'm also using VPD no problems naman with my oil. Still relatively clean after 3K.

I hope ganun nga sir, na ok ung oil even so dark as per my observation, yes agree ako nothing to do with fuel especially with new engine. But as per experience trunk type and engine natin means pag old engine na may chance na macontaminate na ang crankcase oil. Thanks

Sir how about the smoke thing issue is it normal? kc mula ng maubos ko na sa tank ung VPD na observe ko na very slight smoke na sa tail pipe ko. Imagine nu sir nung nka VPD pa ako, my wife wear white pants at naglagay lang ng groceries sa compartment at natapat sa tail pipe legs nia umitim kaagad pants nia, "he, he nakabawi kagad ako"... Note: the engine and aircondition already started 5 min. ago.
Also VPD smoke smells irritating than normal diesel oil, please observe mga sir,s and share us your comments.

V-Power by itself should not cause that effect. It is possible that there was a lot of carbon build-up that V-Power cleared away.

Or... it's possible that the fuel at that particular station for that pump (separate tanks ang V-Power at Diesoline) was contaminated.

Its just me sir ha.

why not try Petron Turbo D? Well, engine oils especially on diesels are supposed to get dark even with just a kilometer of driving after oil change.

Use shell helix diesel, they do a good job cleaning the engine IMO.

Well... the chief should know more about the MS, but in my experience, dark oil at 3000 is normal. Hell... my Crosswind's oil goes black the minute I start it. Other cars have it gradually darken over time.

You should observe the oil every 500 kilometers and take notes.

Wouldn't a darker oil be better since it means more dirt is being cleaned off your engine?

pero napalitan naman daw ba yung oil mo nung change oil sir? para maka sigurado ka next time na magpa service ka sir eh bunutin mo dipstick mo after i release, bago ka umalis sa casa. pag clear, sure un na napalitan. kasi experience ko sa innova, kinukuha ko sa casa yung used oil ko when nagpapa service ako para maka sure ako na pinalitan din nila. pati nga oil filrter pinababalik ko sakin eh kahit di na yun magagamit para sure akong pinalitan. pag idle makina mo mausok? in my experience with my aunt's GLS monty, wala syang usok pagka idle, mismong pagka start lang umuusok. and constant naman yun diba. try mo kargahan ng caltex diesel. it is very good in the engine due to my experience with the innova and GLS monterosport. :D
