GLS V MT here, Sa experience ko po using the 4H, kung sa speed, hindi sya nakakatulong, (dry and wet road testing) more on traction sya applicable, kung hindi basa kalsada, mabigat na yung steering, hapit na hapit yung gulong and very reactive na ang steering, then yung acceleration, Non-V na ang dating.

sa wet road condition naman, na test ko one time na mag-engage during high speed (80KPH at biglang umulan) almost the same din pag dry road, hapit din yung gulong, mas smooth pag tumakbo and no problem up to 100KPH,

Nasa manual po yan, activation ng 4H during driving (shift-on-fly) engage dapat before reaching 100KPH, kung low speed, papasok na yung 4H at 40KPH then kung medyo mabilis, 80KPH.

Sa strada ata is easy select, then sa montero naman, super select.

hindi applicable gamitin yung 4H for long period sa dry pavement sa easy select, (parang katumbas ng 4HLc sa super select)
applicable lang sa wet road condition at sand road condition. (part time 4wd) nasa 2H lang lagi

then sa super select, pwede gamitin yung 4H all the time either wet or dry road condition, yun lang, mas malakas ang FC saka yung wear and tear ng gulong.. (full time 4wd pag naka-engage na sa 4H)

kaya most of the time sa 2H lang lagi para FC efficient and gamitin lang if necessary required.

Same model tayo. First of all, it is not safe to drive fast on a wet road on a rainy day. Bear in-mind that our roads are not exactly even and there will always be some puddle of water pooling in certain areas of the road. Once you pass this puddle of water at high speed, there is no 4x4 technology that could prevent you from hydroplaning.
Yes 4H will provide better grip on wet but at the expense of fuel consumption. However I did enjoy the benefits of a 4H while driving high speed in a loose gravel/unpaved road in bukidnon Ma feel mo talaga gumegewang yung rears mo pag hindi ka naka 4H, lalo pag may malalim na lubak na madaanan or turning on curve part of the road. Feeling rally hahaha lalo na when you see dirts fly and clouds of dust behind you.

Hi guys tanong ko lang, may 4wd warning light / icon ba sa instrument panel? wala kasi ako napapansin sa Mitsubishi 2008 4x4 gls at. hindi ko tuloy alam kung naka activate na ba ang 4wd. thanks

If you're going in a straight line, no.

You will only really notice if the roads are very slippery (in which case, you shouldn't be going anywhere near 150 km/h) or in very tight turns where you might experience wheel-binding.

4H should never be used at high speed or on a dry road, it's pretty bad for your tires.
