    ano mas ok sa dalawa? alam ko luma na ang 4d56 engine but also reliable and tested na. while sa 4m4 (3.2l ) engine naman eh mas bago. Ano kayang bagong tech sa design ng engine?

    IMO mas OK ang 4d56 mas matipid at tested na. kung sa patibayan hindi ka talaga isusubo ng makina na yan
    at sa mga modern may 4d65 na VGT.

    AFAIK wala ata Vgt na 3.2

    sa Speed. hindi naman sila nag kakahulian dalawa. ok din 4m41 kasi parehas naman sila Mitsubshi

    4d56 ngayon kahit po matagal na yung block na yan.. still very good...
    4d56 po ngayon ay improved na naman.. 135hp na for crdi and 178 for vgt..
    mas madali din po parts and maintenance nito

    ok din 4m41.. mas broad ang power nito.. only 160hp kung tama ako.. non vgt pa kasi yung nasa atin

    4M41 VGT. 200 HP, 450 Nm of torque

    I wish the local BK Pajero gets this soon. We're stuck with the older 4M41, unlike the Pajeros/Monteros of other countries

    ^ VGT 1st gen na yung Pajero BK dito sa atin. Kung titignan niyo sa website, 373Nm siya from 2,000 rpm - 3,000 rpm. Yung 2nd gen VGT yung wala pa sa Pinas.

    If I'm not mistaken 4d56 engine is a timing belt (every 80,000 kilometer ang palit ng belt) while 4m41 engine is a timing gear(worry free)

    for me mas ok ang 4d56 vgt,non vgt, o kahit ung engine ng l300, adventure....

    Yan din nakasabi sa Wiki, but it's pretty odd na 165 HP pa rin yung power output. De-tuned probably?

    Anyway I don't expect the 2nd gen VGT to reach the engine bays of the BK Pajeros we have here. I guess sasabay nalang siya when a new model comes in.

    Yup detuned due to bad fuel economy. Kaya nga tingin ko hindi din nadadala pa yung gen 2 vgt 4m41. Sabagay okay na rin naman yan, hindi naman for racing eh, yakang-yaka na niya offroding.

    Timing belt ng 4d56 khit 100,000kms ka na magpalit basta oem belts gagamitin safe pa yan. May buffer pa yan sa 100K palitan IMO. Wala pa kasi ako naririnig na OEM timing belt ng 4d56 na naputol within 100K kms.

    steel block pa ba ang 4d56? eh yung sa 4m41 aluminum na kaya?

    timing gear (medyo may kamahalan nga. gaano kya ito katagal bago palitan)

    pero hindi kya underpower ang 4d56 diba eto engine ng delica, L300 at adventure?? parang nag-face lift lang dahil nilagay sa kaha ng strada??

    sobrang mausok 4d56. better talaga 4m41 kaya lang since pang pajero sya definitely pati maintenance cost pang pajero din.
