guessing the obvious, hindi supported ng head unit ng winterpine yung older version ng ios. Kung hindi supported yung device nyo kagaya nung sa akin. the only fix is: (1) upgrade your ios device (in my case I can't as I am using a jurassic, jailbroken iPhone 3g with ios 4.3.x) or (2) take it up with winterpine to update the HU's firmware to support a particular ios version device.

Upgrade your HU firmware to the latest version via link below or going to Winterpine.

    re: TPMS (tire pressure monitoring...)

Early on, I found out it's off by 2 psi (32 on the HU is actually 34), I've checked and re-checked (use the gauge with other cars). So now I just under inflate by 2 psi from what the HU says.

I will bring this up with the dealer next PMS but is there a way to calibrate the HU/TPMS software on my own? Thoughts?

    Is the TPMS sensors transferable?

Chances are they would not be able to fix it ... they'll just scratch their heads ... what did you use to check the tire pressure? ... make sure it's also accurate and not one of those cheap tire pressure gauges from Ace Hardware or True Value ...

oops.. I meant to say I used A gauge, 2 actually, to measure the actual tire pressure (of the Montero) and used the same gauge to measure tire pressure of my other cars.

But yes, the TPMS sensor (could be) is transferable to other car, I suppose...

Anybody with similar problem as me?

Have you tried using other pressure gauge? Para at least makita mo yung calibration, better also if you will be able to see the tolerance of the sensors, kasi baka talaga +/- 2psi off ang reading nila.

I've those old long metal ones and used 2 'modern' ones for safe measures, measured 2 other cars too.. I am pretty sure the TPMS sensor is off. It is working though, it rises when I inflate...

ok lang sana kung mga 1 psi pero more than 2 psi off yung iba. I just noted the difference and used the TPMS as usual.

Mga sirs any updates kailan definite release ng 2017 GLS Premium? Planning to avail but dealers di makapag commit ng dates. Others says its by last week of June. Worried lang baka tumaas pa ng 1.740M ang offer kapag lumabas na due to demand. TIA

I have been wondering about that too. The two dealers I have been contacting told me the 2017 GLS Premium and GT models will be released this coming August or September pa. I am quite surprised to see that other dealers say that it will be as early as end of June. The price increase will be inevitable, but I have a feeling they will still be a bit generous with their discounts since they do need to catch up with the competition in terms of sales. The only thing is, the deals will not be as enticing as they are now with the remaining 2016 stock.

Based on the previously posted picture comparing the 2016 and 2017 GLS Premium, the changes are not significant, aside from the change of wheels (will now the same as the GT). I find that I can live without the other changes, so I opted to reserve for the 2016 instead and save some cash. Although I can understand why others would prefer the 2017 for the GT wheels, rear fog lamps, and power door lock switch.

For the MS you lock all the doors by locking the driver's door. Now they give you a switch, just like the other brands, to lock all doors....

How about speed sensing auto locks? Should be standard at this price.

The price difference would be around 70k to 80k. 2017 is priced at 1.63M while the 2016 is at 1.558M.

I have in house mechanics. I use ridemax shocks and the ride is also good less sway. It has 4 stage damper adjustment. The original shocks is so cheap and soft kaya swayish sya. Even softer than my sedan. Will send the pict tomorrow.

That's already the srp. I reserved for the GT but opted for the premium because my SA told me that they don't have stock for the GT Virgil Gray color and they said they are now starting to manufacture the 2017 GT but they don't have yet the pricing and release date.

I agree. GT is still the best choice among ng 3 considering the big discount that they're giving.
