2015 MONTERO New Features

Sayang ganda sana to have those features sa 2014 GLX ko. Sana may mga features na pwede sa 2014 model. Ok na rin since minor changes ang 2015 model. Baka nga need talaga ng Mitsubishi to add more features on all MS variants to stay competitive with MuX, Everest, et al... Maybe kapag naglabas na bagong Forty dun palang maglalabas ng bagong Monty.

Congrats to those new monty owners out there.

I think sir kahit hindi gawin ng Mitsubishi ang mga changes na ito is ahead pa din ang montero sa mu-x kasi ang base model monty glx is very well ahead already with the base model of mu-x. Imagine mu-x base model has only 16 inch mags, no ABS, no EBD, no power side mirrors, no fog lamps, etc. base na base nga talaga.

Is it worth it? - Absolutely!

When I got a 2014 model, it was primarily for the need alone with the budget I had. Now from what's indicated in the thread it seems they added the "wants" na wala sa previous model.

For some a non-vgt engine can be a deal breaker.., for others climate control ac & digital controls ng dashboard are a big deal.

Bottom line will be what will make you happy with the budget you have.

Thanks smuiv and joey ed.. I asked because We are in dillema right now.. we were ok na with the 2014 then biglang lumabas ung 2015.. We already have PO for 2014 glx. now if we want the 2015 we have to shell out more because the discount is less than half only of what they offer for 2014. Not sure if i can post the price difference but its quite big for me..

Yes boss there is a 2014 unit reserve for us.. And IIRC, HU and DLR ung upgrades, we need to add 70k to get the new one..

laki naman ng difference sir para lang sa HU and DLR 70K tapos half discount, mag 2014 na lang kayo, yung DLR pakabit na lang sa iba less than 10k ata lang, kung talagang gusto nyo. yung HU maganda rin naman yung 2014 version.

Sir's actually the list price difference between the 2014 and 2015 Montero GLX is just 10k (2014 is P1,208,000 and 2015 is P1,218,000), you can just huggle the final discounted price with your sales agent. When I got my 2014 unit last October I got a 130k discount (P1,078,000), the technique is to buy at the end of the month because all the agents are struggling to reach their quotas so they will give the units at the lowest price.

By the way I was able to search the factory where the 2015 Montero DRL are made in China (CATEC), I was able to contact them and they gave their local distributor here which is PHILKAYE in Banawe. I called them but to my dismay, I was told that the units are not for sale to anybody but exclusive only to Mitsubishi.

I just hope that people selling accessories online in olx or ayosdito can immitate the DRL and sell them.

Thank man, we actually received the same discount as yours for 2014 GLX, but the dealer can't do it for the 2015 unit, they offered half kaya the difference is around 70k..
