2015 MONTERO New Features

Guys, lumabas na ang 2015 Monterosport and may bago nang additional features na wala sa 2014 model like TPMS (of course pwede naman magpalagay nun) but aside from that may daytime running light na sa gilid ng fog lamps, meron na kaya available na aftermarket? Ang head unit meron na din monitoring ng outside temperature, barometer, fuel consumption, average speed, compass, etc., please share naman sa mga nakakaalam kung paano ma-upgrade HU natin kung pwede or kailangan na magpalit talaga ng unit.

Medyo nakakadismaya lang kasi madami sa atin bagong acquire lang ng unit and knowing na 2014 model is just new and wala pang changes pero eto meron na pala additional (which is obvious marketing strategy). Syempre malamang hindi lang naman ako ang may gusto na maging mukhang latest (2015) ang 2014 Monty natin.

Please post naman ng mga expert dyan kung paano natin mapapalagyan ng mga new features na ito ang unit natin.

sir I' m not an expert but IMO yung mga na mention ma na features is dati na po yan standard features ng monty lalo na yung mga glsv and gtv variant, except yung drl. If glx yung monty mo malamang walang mulfi information display ang unit mo hence you dont have, outside temperature, barometer, fuel consumption, average speed, compass, TPMS, etc.,
Yung strada ko na 2012 glsv ay meron nang mga ganyang features pag labas sa dealer. Yung wala sa akin is yung reverse camera but ako na mag install nun dahil pwede naman DIY yun.
IMO, kung drl lang pinag iba ng 2015 model I dont think there's much of a difference. But kung gusto mo magpalagay ng drl pm mo si garyq, may thread siya sa baba (More than looks> Car lights). he can suggest kung anong bagay na drl for your monty.

Thank you sir sa info, by the way 2014 GLX nga lang yung sa akin. Is there any way para mapa-upgrade yung AVT HU na magkaroon din ng multi-information dispaly as mentioned? Meron na din kaya si garyq ng DRL like the one in 2015 model?

Better post your inquiry boss sa monty thread. Dami mga owners ng monty na maka advice sayo dun lalo na si sir zix.
About sa drl naman i think you can get those fog lamps from casa or autoshop na nag bebenta ng mga oem parts provided same shape and mounts yung fog lamps mo ngayun. Winterpine ata meron ng mga ganun kahit yung HU and TPMS sensor meron sila. At half the price nung sa casa.

Mas maganda nga ang display ng HU 3D na, I hope somebody can provide info if this can be done by just software update, worst if totally new HU already, wifi is also a useful addition to the features. Also nasa front na ang sd card slot na dati nasa taas ng display. Is it correct na meron na built-in cabin aircon filter as shown? Yung DRL nakapatong lang kaya sa original na bezel ng foglamps or palit na whole bezel itself?

Sir smuiv yung DRL mukhang nakapatong lang sa bezel nung dati, nag-zoom ako ng picture mukhang patong nga lang. To think bago pa lang (1 year) ang fog lamp bezel ng 2014 model, hindi sasayangin ng 3rd party manufacturer ng Mitsubishi yung plastic mold nila to a new one, gumawa lang sila ng holder nung DRL na nakaibabaw dun sa original. Hopefully may mag-manufacture na ng ganung DRL most especually yung mga nagbebenta sa olx and ayosdito like yung mga chrome handle cover, spare tire cover, etc. Ang sayang nga lang is kung totally new HU na ang nakalagay sa bago ngayon. Sir I think sa GLX meron din itong mga features stated, nabasa ko sa ads ng mga ahente sa sulit and olx.

Sayang ganda sana to have those features sa 2014 GLX ko. Sana may mga features na pwede sa 2014 model. Ok na rin since minor changes ang 2015 model. Baka nga need talaga ng Mitsubishi to add more features on all MS variants to stay competitive with MuX, Everest, et al... Maybe kapag naglabas na bagong Forty dun palang maglalabas ng bagong Monty.
