you can have naman a cheaper tpms, hindi nga lang integrated sa head unit. well para sakin kasi TPMS is a must, ilan beses nako na save, i mean the wheels/tires, from running them flat, thru tpms alert. btw i am using huge wheels kasi kaya kahit flat wala kabig ang steering wheel kasi medyo manipis na ang sidewall, kaya real time monitoring ang kelangan ko. here is an example of aftermarket/universal TPMS

Fuel filter daw boss ung dahilan kaya ng CEL. Kailangan daw ireplace. 2400 lahat nagastos namen. Di pala kasama sa warranty un hehe. Sabi kase ng nakausap ko sa diamond mataas daw ung octane ba or zetane ng turbo diesel kaya mas nagiging madumi ung filter lalo na di daw masyadong nagagamit ung sasakyan di daw naalog ung gas. Mga twice a week lang kase namin gamitin. So sabe niya ung mas low zetane/octane nalang daw ipakarga namin. Ayun nag diesel max muna kame. Kailangan ba talaga ihataw ung sasakyan?
* sir curenei

guys, whats your take on inflating nitrogen in our tires? if its benefits far outweigh the regular air/oxygen, what is the best way to do it?.. kelangan ba ideflate muna before kargahan? or partly oxygen partly nitrogen? if so, ano ratio? tia

Re nitro tires. Best to have it done sa Tyre Rack, Bridgestone or any trusted tire place.
No need to deflate in full. Baka madeform tires mo or ma-compromise yung integrity. Ask the tire shop guys... they know a lot.
Nitrogen gas is colder than oxygen (conventional compressed air). This means it will keep your tires colder to lessen wear and tear. Nitro also has bigger molecules therefore less leaking. My tires take 2-3 months before bumaba ng 1-2 psi. Sa conventional mga 2 weeks lang. Remember: properly inflated tires saves you gas and prolongs the life of the tire.

if its free pwede. pang alis guni guni lang yan nitrogen sa tires, bakit ko nasabi, well, my wheels (305 30 26 on FM) then were inflated with nitro, then after a while na-flat yung isa, just inflated it with ordinary compressor. tried comparing the temp and tire pressure , thru real time monitoring(tpms), started from bulacan going batangas, all the 4 tires started at 35psi, upon reaching batangas, nitro registered 38psi, while the ordinary one was 39psi. kaya para sakin, kung free, larga pero kung sasadyain mo pa tapos magbabayad ka pa, no thanks
It all boils down to proper inflation, regular monitoring and checking and regular rotation of tires including that of the spare. Yung innova ko nabenta na lang after serving me for 7 years. All stock. Wala naman ako naging problem sa tires using ordinary compressed air ( I own one vespa 1hp compressor). Up to now gamit ko pa rin kay teroy eh.

Pero bossing zix, on the 2nd thought, kung maganda and ***y may-ari ng shop at laging nandon, ok din dayuhin kahit may bayad yung nitro 'di ba? He he. Joke lang mga kakosa.

Thanks po sa mga responses, very helpful for me to think more of.. Kung mas ok yung takbo, might as well try ko kahit may bayad. Pwede ko naman ibalik sa compressed air kung wala pagbabago.. Btw, GLX lang po kaya manual checking ako.. Again tia..
^^^ When the tire heats up, pressure builds up hence the harsher ride. Nitrogen does not heat as fast as oxygen but you will notice this mostly if you drive for many hours on the highway enough to heat up the tires +4 PSI from normal pressure.
[QUOTE=zix888;2392693]another 2011 gtv just finished registration, egr blanked!
Hi I'm newbie here. I'll be getting my new 2014 Montero Sport soon. I would like to ask sir kung kailangan na bang magpa blank ng EGR agad.
Hindi po ba mavovoid and warranty ko. Salamat sir.
[QUOTE=truck4x4;2397839]Yes sir. Have the EGR blanked agad. Ask master zix. He blanked mine. Warranty will not be voided.
Afaik, casa has no business checking this mod during PMS. They will only check that yata kapag scheduled na yung EGR cleaning mo then they will find out na there is nothing to clean kasi nagpablank ka na way back.
