Got our unit today .. GLS V MT...

First impression ko and first time to drive the monty....

Clutch, medyo nanibago pero in a short period of time, nakuha ko agad, sabak agad sa bumper to bumper traffic (buendia-taft), very good response, meron man differential backslash ng kaunti pero very easy to compensate..

Gear Shifting, compensate lang sa power ng engine, and smooth naman, too early for shifting in higher gear, turbo lag will feel.

Brakes, Very Responsive, gitgitan sa trapik at sa mid speed level.

Steering, nabasa ko in previous back-thread, mabigat ang steering?! pero in my own assessment during driving,

Mabigat sya kung "stationary" pero once na nakatakbo na, very responsive, kung sa maneuver naman, wala naman akong naging problem, para hindi mabigat ang steering pag mane-obra lalo kung stationary....same application na ginawa ko katulad sa pawis steering, pagulungin lang ng kaunti, viola!! flawless na ang pag-steer

Engine..hehe Before Release sa CASA, kasama ang sales agent and isang technical rep from mitsubishi...

I rev it up to the 4K max, not in redline...No problem, Very Responsive.

Acceleration: thanks sa additional 50NM for the MT, hatak na wagas...


Tires, Thanks to Sir Beng Beng for the video shared dito po sa forums about the calibration of the TPMS...
na-release ang sasakyan namin ng saktong hangin... 29-F 31-R and before running it, nag-calibrate po ako and lumabas sa display yung exact pressure..

My SA told me for All-In Package, free daw lahat (LTO, TPL, Chattel Mortgage, Insurancew/AOG). Apparently, All-IN Promo's interest rates is quite high compare to banks so I told him that I will settle to the bank instead. So, he asked me the interest rate and he negotiated it to the bank and they give me that same rate.

So, parang direct from the bank na rin yung computation na ginawa sa akin.

Btw, for the "Out of Town" charge, he will ask BPI and he will get back to me again tomorrow/later.
Parang biglang nagkaron ng mga hidden charges eh because of the discount and lower interest rate I requested...

Yang hidden charges bro yan ang extra kicjkback ng agent mo to get more out of you. Pero mababa na ba yung 25% na interest parang mtaas narin bro imo po.

Would want to confirm if EGR blanking and OCC would really void our warranty. Just asked the manager of Carworld Pampanga, they informed us that it will surely void our warranty. Is this true? I read on other posts that it will not void our warranty. Thanks in advance.

EGR blanking: I have mine blanked, got into accident that i have to replace my front parts including engine parts(radiator, condenser, intercooler) and the blank plate was still there and never removed until my ride was fixed - no issues.

OCC: have not installed yet. But since i will be over the warranty period, that would not be a concern for me.

Casa always look for something to void warranty claims. All really depends to your SA.

pero right now, bihira lang muna gamitin yung monty namin, baka abutin pa ng 3months bago po mapaabot ng 1000KM.


Sir, ask ko na rin po pala, meron po bang switch ang MMID to turn it off? medyo concern lang din kasi ako baka later on masira yung MMID lalo nakabukas lagi bago mag-start up ng makina, saka additional load po sa battery ang accessories pag startup.

natanong ko rin po kasi sa tech rep, sabi naman nya sa akin, on na talaga yun lagi.

It really depends on the CASA and SA. Have decided to get these mods earlier to prevent usual issues on our Montero. If problem arises will gladly inform you guys in this thread. Thank you for the input.

True. I decided to proceed with EGR tutal tago naman. On OCC issue, will still proceed with the mods and gladly suffer the consequences. Once there are problems that might happen (hopefully none) will be informing you guys through this thread.
