It is a safety issue at high speed if it is 2.5turns. Konting galaw mo lang sa manibela mas malaki na impack vs 3.5turns.

Maneuvering, you will exert extra turn pero walang risk involve.

Actually hindi naman. Mas malaki ang steering effort and centering effect kung maliit ang steering ratio. Consider that go karts have incredibly tight steering ratios and yet are very stable.

if you drive fast then 2.5 turn will be more suitable to a driver, that kind of steering will be more responsive in a fast paced action

with 3.5 turn for a mirage then its suited for slow economical driving

if a driver is a racer then thats the only time it will be a BIG DEAL

The difference, either way, is not very big at all. Road-going cars are tuned to be less sensitive on-center. Tire width and suspension settings will have more of an impact on straight-line sensitivity.

And some cars with less turns lock-to-lock have less actual lock and a wider turning circle. Some... don't. Knowing how many turns the wheel does is less informative than knowing the actual steering ratio.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

The Mirage does have an insanely tight turning circle (4.4m for the GLX, 4.6m for the GLS). I do find myself using more steering input compared to, say, an FD Civic, but for the most part I only find myself using the extra steering input when parking. Very useful for city driving.

Going slightly off topic, the Mirage has a loud power steering motor. Parang may robot sa loob ng kotse pag nagpa-parallel park!

ya that is another explanation about 3.5 turns on a mirage steering wheel, mas malaki ang turning radius nya compared to other cars

I went to manila auto salon for this kasi 50% off daw. Regular price for mirage is P130,000 so x 50% is P65,000 pa din. =p

Sa foilacar P150,000. Meron isa pa V Wrap P70,000 naman. Kaya I ended up with lamination from clean habit worth P1,200. =)

You can also try Winterpine. I think they are the authorized distributor (not sure if also installer) of 3M wrap around tints in the Philippines.

Anybody already went to SpeedLab in Banawe to inquire about performance upgrades like K&N drop in filter, cold air intake, headers and a Mirage unichip?

on our way back from greenhills the fuel gauge blinked again so i gassed up at wackwack (648km odo reading) which was more expensive than my last trip to the gas station in tagaytay (524km odo reading, 10.07li)

for a fuel economy of [(648-524)/10.07]=12.31km/li with a moderate to heavy traffic. experienced light traffic only from tagaytay to dasmarinas on our way back to manila
