Just got a call from my SA, who told me that it is already impossible to get a unit this January. He said it might take until March, by which time there will be no more 20k discount (made a reservation last week of November). According to my dad who works in the bank where I got my loan, Mitsubishi said the 20k discount is only until February.

In this case, what's the use of reserving early if you can't avail of the discount when the unit arrives late, which isn't the customer's fault anyway?

I'm thinking of getting a refund and get a different unit.

Heads up to those who reserved early and are still waiting for their units. Btw, my dealer is Citimotors Las Pinas.

December 11 kame nag usap nung SA, Dec. 12 ko nakuha yung unit..
Unang tawag ko kasi dec10 nagtanung ako ng color and variant sabe update nya ko by Dec 11. if meron.. then morning dec11 tumawag. Tapos ayun inayos namen transaction, and PO (fr bank) I gave the bank's manager number and vice versa. Tapos sinabe sakin na I can get it by Dec12.. Nakuha ko naman..

thanks to this thread i now know what to expect from my mirage... in terms of performance that is..
release na cya tomorrow... glx mt... malaking tulong un thread sakin kasi first time "full time" driver, first car...
malay ko ba kung mali na pala ung response nung kotse.. ^^ buti maraming info dito..

with regards sa SA and dealer experience, share ko un sakin..
ung 1st SA nmin, for me, is gagawin lahat para lang makabenta kaht di na totoo ung sinasabi..
parents visited the dealer, to check the car... my mom asked if green was included in the options for glx mt..
the SA said yes... when they got home i told them na hindi.. but mom didnt believe me coz she trusted the SA kasi supposedly cya talaga dapat may alam...
the next day she called the SA and asked again, still the SA said yes sa green... then mom made the reservation based from this info.
after two days, upon showing my mom info on the net, she called again and SA said yes still.
after a week (when she was about to register the coupon code sa online), SA called up and said "Ma'am di pala available green sa GLX MT, kalalabas lang po ng memo from planta na di kasama"... kalalabas lng ng memo?! absolute lie! this time i talked to her and told her that info was already in the internet way way back tas sasabihin nya kalalabas lang ng memo? she kept on insisting on the "memo" thing... then i told her that i know another agent in their dealer and he confirmed that SAs already know the color availability way before eraly bird promo started..

aftermath, we changed SA... nagalit pa cya when she found out, kaya my mom talked to the manager na mismo to explain our preference...
new SA is very very accomodating... laging may update, very accessible...

share ulit, our 15k accessories + 10k reservation was spent on these:
central lock and alarm - 6500
sensor (likod) - 3500
front and rear lamp chrome - 6200
lto and tpl - 11300

insurance w/ AOG - 17k from BPI..

Matagal tagal na rin ang 6weeks, ako kasi bago ko lumipat sabe ko na sure ba yan na makukuha agad kasi ipapacancel ko na yung sa ibang dealer.. Ayun sure naman at maasahan..

Haays! palpak talaga marketing ng mitsubishi. Sana lang hindi rin maging March ang release nung mga nag pre-order (Aug-Oct 31) reservation.

brought the car (GLX CVT) to the casa yesterday to check the battery & it was deemed OK

to diagnose further they want me to leave the car so they can test drive it, sabi ko ako na lang magtest drive muna at maghintay na maulit muli yun 2 issues na naencounter ko sa mirage ko. i test drove the car yesterday til midnight & i didnt encounter any problem

took the opportunity to get quotation for first 1000km PMS, medyo mahal compared sa iba so ill take the opportunity to test drive my car further & visit different dealerships in the following days

fuel costing is still 4pesos per km [for 698km traveled costed me P2900]

They run tests and everything and the said that they didnt found any problems. The car was there for about two days, and I'm using it now without problems. But i observed that the engine sound is more smooth and quiet. I really doubt that they didn't do anything to fix it. Anyway, under observation pa rin sakin.

What were the symptoms of your unit before the "unable-to-start" incident happen?

Note: I installed alarm,keyless entry and power locks outside of the casa (P2,500), but my service advisor said it wasn't the cause but only a suspect. hehe.

Kahapon ayaw mag-start ng unit ko (GLX-CVT din). At 809 km sa Odometer, ayaw na niya mag-start. For almost 30 mins, parang naghihingalo yung tunog ng makina. Pero after few tries nag-OK na ulit siya. Akala ko wala lang gas, kasi blinking na yung gauge. Pero ang alam ko may reserba pa yun kaya imposible na empty na yung tank nun.

Sa ngayon ino-obserbahan ko pa rin yung kotse kung babalik yung problema. (Sana wag na)
