hi monty owners! just would like to ask if ung bio exceed diesel ng sea oil is already euro level 3? sea oil lng kc at the moment ung pinaka malapit sakin...i know majority of u uses unioil diesel, oks lng ba ung sa sea oil na bio exceed?
btw, tlga bng much prefer natin ikarga ung euro level 3 & up? im wondering kc pag emergency ung 3 big players na gas stations naka euro 2 pa din,correct? pls. give me ur inputs. thanks!

Mga boss I own a GLS V monty baka meron gusto makipag swap sa CHROME door handles at side mirror ko. Gusto ko kasi bodycolor. Savanna white color ng montero ko. Yung mga bagong labas kasi ngayon na lower models bodycolor ang door handles nila.. Baka lang may gusto ng chrome. 1 month palang montero ko.Thanks

the euro ratings (euroII, euroIII, euro IV, etc) refer to standards which are increasingly becoming strict (read as cleaner) regarding the amount of pollutants in the emissions of new vehicles. euroII compliance (dated 1996) means a new vehicle after standard testing of its emissions has met the max amount of nitrous products, hydrocarbons, carbon monoxide, particulates (read as pollutants) allowed. in 2005, the euroIV comes into effect (which further limits the allowable pollutants in the vehicle's emission).

vehicle manufacturers improve the emissions of their vehicles by modifying their engines (e.g. the ecu, turbo-charging, etc) and correspondingly label their vehicles as such. hence the labels euroII compliant, euro IV compliant etc. newer vehicles with fancier engines have higher euro ratings. our laws require a euroII compliance for new vehicles. it is said that by 2014, this will be improved to euroIV compliance. vehicles already on the road are not covered by the newer euro compliance, it is only for new vehicles.

engines of higher euro compliant vehicles do not do well with lower compliant fuels ("dirtier fuel", more sulfur, etc), they encounter problems with their catalytic converter. lower compliant engines can use higher compliant fuels. our monty is euroII compliant thus it can use euroII fuels or better (euroIII, euro IV).

in fuel, higher euro compliance means "cleaner fuel". using a euroIII or euroIV fuel results in emissions which are more friendly to the environment as it has less sulfur etc. but the Monty should have no problem at all with the EuroII fuels of the big 3. it is the contamination of the fuel in the station that is more of a problem (e.g. flooded station, etc) thus be extra careful in loading up in provincial stations and frequently flooded areas.

in earlier posts, an executive of Mitsubishi motors responded to a tsikoteer query about the use of regular diesel vs "special diesel" (regular diesel vs petron turbo xp or shell v-power, etc). he said he noticed "no difference between the 2 in his Monty and is not worth the extra cost". so here, its personal preference.

hi guys, does anyone experienced that their usb end cable does not fit in the usb outlet for the 2012 models. im trying to plug in yesterday to try out my phone but it seems that the usb end cable is too short to fit in the usb outlet installed in the dashboards. TIA for the feedbacks.

need help regarding sa wipers mga sir. pansin ko lang every time umuualn, after several wipes, tumatalon na yung wiper ko kapag pabalik na yung wipe. parang may malagkit sa windshield ko. bago lang wipers and bagong linis naman yung sasakyan. ano kaya ang pwedeng gawin?

tried applying RAIN AWAY and it fixed the problem kaso after ilan hours of using it...ganun na uli. first day i got my montero umulan, ganun na agad siya. i guess we have to change the wipers. ill try talking about this sa casa when i visit them next time

i changed my wipers last friday when i noticed the dragging. after the change, wipers run smoothly as before. With that, i followed it up with glass science scrub. so far with yesterday's rain, it didnt drag.

Yes sir.
Cleaning the windshield would be okay and replacing the wipers is the last option you have. Those who have replaced the stock wipers(proven crap) opted for bosch and got good results.

my wipers are also acting up. wala pa 1 month monty ko. i remember when my colleague purchased his lancer nagulat ako ang pangit agad ng wiper. i guess ganon talaga wipers ng mitsu?
