check this out: MITSUBISHI MOTORS PHILIPPINES CORPORATION I MONTERO SPORT GLX V LIMITED 4x2 M/T
Yes mga sir gls-v m/t 4x4 ung kukunin ko hopefully by the end of the month..banking approval na lng w8 ko..nka lagay kc sa pinaka ilalim dealer option ung security alarm..ano ba tlg ksma na un or optional pa xa?tnx mga idol...
Ehehe sna ma approve sir..any early advise pra skin using monty?strength and weakness bah..ehe
it's only the monterosport that has manual transmission, selective 4x4 capability and high ground clearance among others(exactly what we were looking for). the fortuner 3.0 variant comes only with a/t and full time 4x4 (w/c may have fuel economy issues). the other suv/cuv's come in a/t only.
you may also want to test drive the others first just to reinforce your choice (it will be quite an investment). check if your driving position and 2nd and 3rd row seating in the monty is comfortable enough for you (seating in the fortuner/innova is better, but not a deal breaker for me). visit other threads and fora to see the problems, etc of the others (e.g. hyundai tucson thread...)
it should be very clear in your head why you are getting the monty. don't just listen to us, we'll all just tell you to go get it.
i second this. You might regret getting A not knowing that B is the one suitable for your lifestyle. if its not possible to do a test drive at least physically check the differences. just my 2 cents. (this is what i did before deciding considering of course the budget that i have).
Oo nga eh..pro hnd nmn ganoon ka talamak carnap d2 sa angeles...sa pagkakaalam ko lng ah..lalo na ngaun..doble ingat na lng cgro..
We've been to tucson and my dad sell it aftr a yr..kumuha cla ng mini..eh ang liit ayw ko,kya nagpakuha ako ng suv..montero is my choice tlg..kumukuha lng ako ng advise bka kc marami sakit ang montero, ask ko lng dn sir ano ung pms na napag uusapan dn dito?
Good day mga monty owners! I have decided to buy the NON VGT GLX AT na Montero. Yan lang kaya budget. My unit will be released this week hopefully Friday daw. I was wondering what are things that I need to check before I leave the casa with my monty? Things to ask, etc. And kasi palalagyan ko na din back up sensor and chrome door handles para di daw ma void kung sa labas pa palagyan. Ask ko lang din how much ang pricing niyan if outside ko ipagawa? Like any store/shop you wanna recommend here in the South? Saka yung GPS palalagyan ko din namamahalan lang ako kasi 6k sa casa and SD card nalang daw kasi ang kulang. How much din kaya yan outside? Sorry for all the newbie questions but thank you for those who will be replying. More power!
Backing sensor around 1.5k up , depending on what model and brand. As for the gps im not sure. Try to call winterpine, baka mas mura sa kanila since sila din ang supplier ng mitsuJust check kung merong mga physical damage ung unit na makukuha mo. San dealer ka sir kukuha? btw, how much ung chrome handles na nakuha mo? Tnx
Okay noted sir.
I'm planning also to get this same variant and thanks for asking as these are the things I also need to know upon receiving the unit. Paki advise na lang kung pwede mainstall ang audio controls and where to get other accessories like reserved tire cover and side/tailgate door cladding.
ako rin sir kukuha ng non vgt! come to think of it that the side mirrors and door handles are not the same exterior compared to vgt.. hndi n chrome ang mga handles at side mirrors.. kya nag order ako sa casa mismo ng chrome.. all in all 11,500... 4,500 for side mirror pIr and 7,000 for door handles...
hi monty owners! its nice to know dami avail ng monty unit, as mentioned this sat. ko nmn mkukuha ung sakin, another newbie question mga sirs, what are the documents i need to have paglabas ng casa, since its brand new i suppose ung mga rehistro are still not available, how about the insurance thru bpi ung nkuha ko, are all the papers for this one should be in placed already? any other pertinent documents that i need to request or demand?! btw, for these documents usually how long it takes pra makuha mo lahat?! as a first tym buyer medyo hesistant lng kc ako sa mga kaibigan nating enforcer sa kalye, hehe! wag nmn sana pero in cases na may hanapin sakin may maipapakita ako. ill be getting pa kc d' unit along pasay eh im coming all the way from laguna. thx a lot in advance sa mga mag feedback!
your cr/or and plates will take a while(approx 3-4 weeks) before it gets delivered to you. your car will be insured but i think the papers will be delivered along with the or/cr/plate. the conduction sticker entitles you to drive your brand new car for 7 days without the or/cr after which you may be apprehended for violating the no plate no travel policy. however, in a memo from usec torres of the lto to its enforcers, apprehensions for violators of this no plate no travel policy are SUSPENDED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE (dated April 30, 2012), which means YOU ARE NOT TO BE APPREHENDED BUT MAY STILL BE FLAGGED DOWN to verify your vehicle invoice. This suspension has been published in the newspapers already in recognition of their failure to produce enough plates for new vehicles.
Ask your agent to give you a copy of this lto memo (they have photocopies) for presentation to an "enterprising enforcer". Most enforcers let you pass unless you have violated something else. It will be tricky for you because of the travel back to laguna. Try to be home early (daytime) to avoid the unpredictability of checkpoints. A brand new suv without plates is "very attractive" especially in this age of pseudo-checkpoints cum carjack points. Be careful always but "more especially" while still without plates.
If this will be your first time driving a Montero, tell your agent beforehand and arrange a short test drive with a car jock/pre-delivery tech from the dealer so he can explain the car's bells and whistles firsthand. Ask him everything and everything from the alarm, spare tire, diesel fuel, turbo timer, pms, etc (issues you see here). Good luck and congratulations on your new ride!
