I tried to pull open that housing yesterday but unsuccessful. I can't seem to fit my fingers dun sa pinagpapasukan ni Sir Zixx, plus the fact na kabado sa ginagawa hehehe. Iconfirm ko lang Sir Zixx, all i have to do ba sir is to insert my fingers sa konting space between the LCD and the housing tapos pull upwards na?

ah ok Sir. Try ko ulit maya. Thanks! Ask ko na rin pala sir, normal ba na may konting shift shock from neutral to drive or reverse? Pag traffice kasi I shift to N then D parang may konti akong nafefeel na shift shock.

will try to remove my HU cover and check na din if there's a slot for the SD card. baka naman pwede humingi ng files from the Navi SD card para matry kung SD card lang talaga solusyon para magka Navi HU ko hehe

Try putting some thin plastic cards sa gaps in between the cover and the dash, ganon usually ginagawa ng technicians while pulling the cover towards you.

Kahit siguro may card slot(and i guess there is) no assurance pa rin sir na maactivate na GPS map or navigation. But it's worth a try ika nga..

Sir nasa casa ako kahapon sa carworld i did ask the lady SA dun yung mga sabi nya wala daw gps yung non vgt pero pwedi daw i load ng software para gumana gps 5k daw.

Baka yung OS + Map ang kailangan mai-load to have the GPS activated. 5K is too much siguro. One owner of Advie SE has activated his GPS just by "copying" the data. See 2012 advie thread..

Tama ka sir prince, may mga nakapag activate ng gps nila sa advie thread. Two of them just downloaded the files from inav and followed the instruction from the website. sana ganun lang din yung sa mga non vgt para hindi na sila gumastos. But i suggest na before nila buksan, have an sd card extension cable ready para isang bukasan na lang.

Lagyan mo na din ng sd card with downloaded map files, para bolt on :-)

Experienced the same thing, sir. Pag continuously pataas yung daan, the engine senses this and high rev yung makina for more power. It stays at 2nd or 3rd gear longer. It goes back to normal driving when on flat roads. This is in our manual. Part of the program of the transmission I think

Same is true if going downhill, and constantly applying brakes, you will feel engine braking. Yan yung adaptive shifting ng monty, depende sa driving style mo, dun siya magbabase

Pwede sir, pakopya ko sayo yung software and map update basta my SD card na kayo, sd extension lang kasi ako meron.

went to citimotors alabang yesterday morning, odered a white montero 4x2 GLS-V... got it the same afternoon! heehee! i also got the 3M tint, oem hoodguard, oem window visors, and oem gt-v carbon spoiler installed narin all done yesterday! thumbs up citi!

mgs sir, i noticed last night while driving home my new monty na meron 'chime' yung signal indicators, dun sa 2009 4x4 monty namin wala naman chime... ok lang naman meron but if i can disable it, i'll probably do it... hmmm...

dun pala sa mga nagtatanong regarding GPS sa non-vgt models..

if your unit has the GPS antenna (small square box), normally located sa passenger side corner ng dash and widshield, then possible na software lang ang kailangan, if wala then malabo gumana yung GPS nyan kasi it will need the antenna with 'almost direct line-of-sight' to the sky para mabasa location. Hope this helps...

For those who have stock GTV, have you experienced a delayed reaction (2-3 seconds lag) upon pressing the accelerator 1/2 to 2/3 of the way while on incline? The car will start to move only upon reaching 1800 or higher rpm. I experienced this twice or thrice while I was in one of those inclines in Baguio. Power was not imediately available. Diamond Motors Valle Verde said nothing is wrong with the vehicle but I have doubts since this was not the case the first time I took the car to Baguio traversing the same streets. BTW, I was using Shell V-power TD at the time.
