    Sorry, I can't help you with the issue you have. I only replied specifically about the battery.

    My guess is that he suggested to check the battery condition because if it's about to die, one of the first symptoms is failing Electronics. It may be that the car will start away but the cranking voltage is below 10 V and that is one indication that the battery has reached or is about to reach its end.
